Hulk Hogan – Then

Terry Eugene Bollea, known as Hulk Hogan for most of his life, is a former professional wrestler. Not just any, but one of the greatest the world has ever seen. After developing a passion for the sport, Hogan received training from the late Hiro Matsuda until he made his professional debut.
Hogan came under the radar after signing with the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE), where he achieved notable wins, including five WWF Championships and two Royal Rumble matches. He subsequently joined World Championship Wrestling and won six championships in the heavyweight class. Not many others have found such success in the industry since.
Hulk Hogan – Now

Today, Hulk Hogan is 67 years old and is as fit as you can expect him to be. He retired after making a $25 million fortune for himself. However, you can still see him make appearances on WWE Raw, which airs on the USA Network.
We can't also forget to mention the WWE Hall of Famer's acting career, which is still thriving. According to his IMDb page, Hogan is scheduled to voice a character in the upcoming film The Adventure of Carl Johnson. Hogan has been married to Jennifer McDaniel since 2010, and his two children, Brooke and Nick, have made names for themselves on reality television.
Sting – Then

Any music fans here may think the British singer wrestled at some point in his life, but this isn't the same person. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, Steve Borden adopted the ring name Sting when he joined the Universal Wrestling Federation. It was, of course, after he briefly competed as "Flash."
Sting is best known for his 14-year long run with World Championship Wrestling and later, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. It was with these two promotions that he won 21 of his 25 career championships. During the height of his career with WCW, Sting was considered the equal of Hulk Hogan, except the latter was with WWF.
Sting – Now

In 2016, Sting announced his retirement from wrestling after taking a hit (specifically a turnbuckle powerbomb), which injured his neck. He kept up appearances on TV, having appeared on Legends with JBL and Raw episodes until he surprised his fans by signing with All Elite Wrestling in 2020.
Sting has teamed with Darby Allin to take part in a Street Fight at Revolution, which means he's out of retirement at the age of 61. A sneak peek into his personal life will show you that he married for the second time in 2015. His first wife is, however, the mother of his three children.
Bret Hart – Then

Born in Calgary, Alberta, to a family of professional wrestlers, Bret Hart grew up to become the superstar of them all by securing 32 championships in both WCW and WWE. In his prime, Hart managed to win the 1994 Royal Rumble match and also became the only wrestler to become King of the Ring twice in their careers.
Hart's retirement from professional wrestling was forced in 2000 due to a concussion he had in 1999. However, he did return for WWE's sporadic in-ring competitions in 2010 and 2011, marking the final championship of his lengthy career.
Bret Hart – Now

Even to this day, Bret Hart graces wrestling events, conventions, and documentaries with his presence. He has made around 150 screen appearances, which are, as expected, mostly wrestling-related programs. As per IMDb, he is set to play Private Investigator Tom Jenkings on Tales from the Dead Zone.
While he had one of, if not the most, successful careers in history, Hart's romantic life wasn't always steady. He'd been through two divorces and has been doing well on his third marriage for the past 11 years. In 2016, Hart, like his brother Smith, was diagnosed with prostate cancer but survived following surgery. Smith wasn't so lucky.
Trish Stratus – Then

Patricia Anne Stratigeas worked as a fitness model when she was offered a contract from the World Wrestling Federation. Because she'd been a wrestling fan since she was a child, Stratigeas was quick to grab the opportunity and made her debut with the ring name Trish Stratus.
In the beginning, she was highlighted for her steaminess although, it didn't take long for Stratus to show off her skills and win numerous WWE Women's Championships. Stratus was in professional wrestling for seven years. Even though it wasn't much, it was long enough for her to leave a memorable mark in the industry.
Trish Stratus – Now

Trish Stratus made a brief comeback in 2018, five years after she was inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame. During her return, the now 45-year-old competed in the 2018 Women's Royal Rumble, 2018 WWE Evolution, and also SummerSlam 2019.
Lately, Stratus has her hands full not only by being a good wife to her high-school sweetheart turned husband Ron Fisico but also by raising their two kids. It doesn't stop there. She owns and runs Stratusphere, which has been addressed as the biggest eco-friendly yoga studio in her native Canada. Stratus also makes the occasional screen appearance, with the latest being on Christmas in the Rockies in 2020.
Shawn Michaels – Then

From Heartbreak Kid to Mr. Wrestlemania, Shawn Michaels has had several nicknames during his time as a professional wrestler. From the age of 12, he was certain he was meant to become a professional wrestler and pursued a career in the industry after leaving Southwest Texas State University.
Initially, Michaels worked with a few wrestling promotions before signing with WWF, with whom he'd spend the rest of his career. Even though he retired in 1998 after suffering from a back injury, Michaels wrestled with WWE again from 2002 until a second retirement in 2010 came along. While his wins could go on for pages, the four World Championships stand out.
Shawn Michaels – Now

Eight years after his second retirement, Shawn Michaels returned to the ring for one final match. The 56-year-old has kept up his appearances on WWE Raw over the years. In addition to that, he appeared in WWE NXT and WWE Survivors Series in 2020.
Michaels is a father of two children he shares with Rebecca Curci, a member of the former WCW dance team, The Nitro Girls. They've been married since 1999, but it wasn't Michaels's first marriage. Between 1988 and 1994, he was married to Theresa Wood. He is a born again Christian and doesn't hesitate to show it off every chance he gets.
Rey Mysterio – Then

Óscar Gutiérrez, better known as Rey Mysterio, is a professional wrestler exposed to the sport from a young age by his uncle, Rey Misterio Sr. Having started at the age of 14, he is known for his trademark high-flying Lucha Libre style of wrestling.
Mysterio won various championships during his time with WCW before signing with WWE in 2002. The WCW Cruiserweight Championship and the WCW World Tag Team Championship are only a few among the many. Of course, he's had brief stints with other promotions in between as well.
Rey Mysterio – Now

Billed as the greatest cruiserweight in wrestling history, Rey Mysterio currently performs under WWE's SmackDown brand. In a mid-2020 episode of Raw, he got into a feud with Seth Rollins. The dispute got heated and even left Mysterio with an eye injury.
Now aged 46, Mysterio is a happily married man with two children. He and his wife, Angie Gutiérrez, will celebrate their silver anniversary on May 11, 2021. The couple's firstborn, Dominik Gutiérrez, a.k.a Dominik Mysterio, got into wrestling early on and is signed with WWE alongside his father.
The Rock – Then

If there's one wrestler who went on to find success and multiply his fanbase in other industries, it's Dwayne Johnson, who is also known as The Rock. He spent eight years competing for WWF before deciding to pursue a career as an actor.
We're sure movie fans everywhere are grateful he did because Johnson has starred in some of the hottest films, including Hercules, Rampage, and recent Fast & Furious films. There's no question about him being regarded as one of the greatest wrestlers of all-time because his wins include two Intercontinental Championships, ten World Championships, and a Triple Crown win.
The Rock – Now

It doesn't take a big reveal to let the world know that Dwayne Johnson is active as an actor as he can be. In fact, he topped the list of the world's highest-paid actors in 2020 by banking a whopping $87.5 million, according to USA Today.
Starting in 2017, Johnson has starred in two Jumanji films and is awaiting the releases of his newest movies, such as Jungle Cruise and Red Notice, while working on others like The King and Black Adam. The 48-year-old's wrestling career is now behind him. The father of three tied the knot for the second time in 2019 to Lauren Hashian.
Sable – Then

Rena Marlette Lesnar was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and grew up enjoying physical activities like gymnastics, horse riding, and softball. She also had stunning looks, which allowed her to build a career as a model. When she was just shy of turning 30, Lesnar made her wrestling debut at WrestleMania XII.
In the ring, she became the great Sable, which is the name she is known by today. Sable's fights with other female wrestlers like Luna Vachon and Jacqueline made her the second WWF Women's Champion. She has been retired since 2007.
Sable – Now

The same gorgeous looks that qualified Sable to win beauty pageants and work as a model put her under the radar as a feminine symbol. Of course, it was enabled further by her three-time appearance in a notorious and well-known men's magazine.
We haven't seen much of the 53-year-old on the screens as we did in the early years of the 21st century. Perhaps it's because she has been busy raising three children. After all, she cited family as the reason behind her retirement from wrestling in the first place. Sable is currently on her third marriage, which is to Brock Lesnar, also a professional wrestler.
Lex Luger – Then

Born in Buffalo, New York, as Lawrence Wendell Pfohl, Lex Luger was an avid football player during his high school years. It's what led to his football scholarship at Pennsylvania State University. Despite having signed with the Green Bay Packers of the NFL, Luger's success in the wrestling scene came after being discovered by Bob Roop.
During his two-decade-long career, Luger worked with several promotions, including Jim Crockett Promotions, WCW, and WWE. He was the second WCW Triple Crown Champion and won five NWA/WCW United States, one WWA, and two WCW Heavyweight Championships.
Lex Luger – Now

Lex Luger was doing well in his career when he had what could be called a freak accident in 2007. His posture during a flight from Atlanta to San Francisco in 2007 put him in a state of paralysis and forced his retirement.
Luger, now 62, is recovered and works away from the ring for WWE, where he provides counseling to the younger generation in regard to topics like nutrition, exercise, and drug prevention. He never remarried after splitting with Peggy Fulbright, the mother of his two children, in 2003.
Virgil – Then

Widely known as the bodyguard of the "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, Michael Jones, a.k.a Virgil, is a professional wrestler himself. Surprisingly, Virgil isn't the only moniker he has had. Vincent, Shane, Curly Bill, and, most recently, Soul Train Jones are also other ring names he went by.
Among his accomplishments are one AWA International Heavyweight Championship, one AWA Southern Tag Team Championship (with Rocky Johnson), one NJCW Heavyweight Championship, and a Million Dollar Championship. After his prime years, Virgil retired and worked as a math teacher in a Pittsburgh high school.
Virgil – Now

Virgil did not end up with the same fate as most other wrestlers. Instead of living lavishly post-retirement with endorsements and other opportunities knocking on his door, the 58-year-old began attending conventions and has often been spotted at train stations signing autographs in exchange for money.
It triggered Internet mockery, referring to him as "Lonely Virgil." In fact, an article by TheMix.net even addressed him as "the saddest retired wrestler of all time." In 2020, he appeared in Game Vault and was also offered to serve as Boss Dawson's bodyguard.
Big Show: Then

To say Paul Donald Wight II was cut out to be a wrestler is an understatement. When he first started as a WCW signee, he was dubbed the "son of André the Giant" for the most obvious reasons. After all, the man all wrestling fans know as the Big Show is a seven-foot, 400-pound giant!
Combining height, weight, technique, and charisma, Big Show made for one of the most iconic wrestlers in the history of the game and became particularly famous during his time with WWE. He was the holder of countless titles, including the WCW and the WWE World Heavyweight Championships.
Big Show: Now

While Big Show was great in the wrestling ring, fighting is something you probably don't want to be doing in your 40s... Fortunately, Paul Wight is aging graciously and has switched the costume for the suit and tie to become an AEW commentator.
More than that, he's also been making a name for himself as an actor. In 2020, the sitcom The Big Show Show premiered on Netflix, presenting a new funny side of the wrestler we all know and love. While the series was canceled after just one season, it was well worth a shot!
John Cena: Then

If there ever was a Tom Brady-equivalent in the world of wrestling, that's probably John Cena. For years, the WWE superstar was the fighter every wrestling fan was rooting for. He became extremely popular due to his urban style, characteristic FU move, and all-around nice guy attitude.
Accustomed to fighting the cruelest and most disloyal of adversaries, Cena is rightfully considered one of the best wrestlers of all-time. During his spell with WWE, he held the title of world champion 16 times, a record he shares with the legendary Ric Flair.
John Cena: Now

While John Cena continues to collaborate with WWE, he seems to be more focused on his acting career at the moment. He starred in the action flicks The Marine and 12 Rounds in 2006 and 2009 but has more recently proved to be extremely well-suited for comedic roles. His 2015 bedroom scene in Amy Schumer's Trainwreck is still one the funniest things we've ever seen on the big screen.
After appearing in the Dwayne Johnson comedy Fighting with My Family in 2019, Cena is getting ready for a busy 2021: he's set to appear in F9, The Suicide Squad, and the upcoming TV series Peacemaker.
Dave Bautista: Then

With a sensational body and one of the most thorough lists of technical abilities in the game, Dave Bautista's wrestling career was a memorable one. Before retiring from the WWE in 2014 (even though he made a quick 2018/2019 comeback), the wrestler known as 'Batista' was able to become a six-time world champion.
He appeared in numerous editions of Wrestlemania, a popular pay-per-view yearly event that can be considered wrestling's Super Bowl. He debuted in 1999 and retired 20 years later as he started becoming more known for his off-the-ring acting roles.
Dave Bautista: Now

While it was always clear that Dave Bautista had a knack for acting, it's fair to say nobody expected him to become such a popular Hollywood performer over the last ten years. But Bautista did so well as Drax the Destroyer in Guardians of the Galaxy that fans decided they couldn't get enough of him!
After the huge success of the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, Bautista went on to reprise his role in numerous other Marvel flicks, including Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: End Game. In 2017, he also made it to Blade Runner 2049.
Randy Orton: Then

Randy Orton was practically born to be a wrestler. His grandfather Bob Orton and his father Bob Orton Jr. were both professional wrestlers, as well as his uncle Barry Orton. With so many fighters in the family, it's no wonder Randy was able to become one of the best wrestlers of all-time and an ultimate symbol of the WWE.
Orton landed his wrestling debut in 2000 and immediately started making a name for himself. Dubbed "The Legend Killer" for his prowess to beat WWE legends as an up-and-coming superstar, Orton became the youngest-ever WWE champion at 24.
Randy Orton: Now

While most wrestling superstars tend to leave the ring behind to pursue a more peaceful entertainment career, Randy Orton just can't get enough of the WWE. His 20-year career in sports entertainment is as solid as anyone else's, and Orton continues to make headlines on the Raw brand today.
After having so many feuds with so many superstars, the fan-favorite Orton continues to be a "legend killer" of outstanding athletic ability. Still, he's been definitely trying his luck in Hollywood in recent years: in 2019, he made it to the comedy films Long Shot and Changeland.
The Undertaker – Then

With looks as fierce as his, Mark William Callaway or The Undertaker was born to shine in pro wrestling. His ominous character built into the six-foot-ten 309-pound frame gave The Undertaker the upper hand in winning fights. In 2016, he also earned him the Guinness World Record for The Streak (21 consecutive victories) at WrestleMania.
In addition to that, The Undertaker has also won four WWE Championships and three WWE World Heavyweight Championships. As spectacular and vicious as he was, he bid farewell to his three-decade-long career in June 2020 after making a fortune of $17 million.
The Undertaker – Now

Since his time as The Undertaker is over, let's look at who the real Mark William Calaway is. It's not easy because hardly anyone perceives him as anything other than scary. Believe it or not, the 55-year-old has a softer side that only his four children get to see.
The four kids have three different mothers—each of whom was either married to him in the past or still is. Some of The Undertaker's other interests include investing in real estate, helping save animals, and surprise-surprise—boxing and mixed martial arts. In 2020, he also starred in the documentary Undertaker: The Last Ride.
Stacy Keibler – Then

During her young/school years, Stacy Keibler's interests lay with activities like ballet, jazz, and tap dancing—meaning no one would have ever guessed her pursuing a career as a wrestler. She was (and still is) a gorgeous woman, which opened up avenues for acting roles, modeling gigs, and work as a cheerleader for the Baltimore Ravens of the NFL.
Keibler's wrestling career's beginnings go back to her time as a member of The Nitro Girls of WCW. She participated in the Invasion storyline and later managed Dudley Boyz, Test, and Scott Steiner before leaving the promotion.
Stacy Keibler – Now

Stacy Keibler's jaw-dropping looks and notable features like her long legs established her as a feminine symbol. Subsequently, they earned her the nickname "The Weapon of Mass Seduction" during her time as a contestant on the second season of Dancing with the Stars. She finished in third place, in case you were wondering.
After many years, we saw Keibler's return in 2019 when she inducted Torrie Wilson into the WWE Hall of Fame. The 41-year-old has dated many famous figures, including Andrew "Test" Martin, Geoff Stults, and George Clooney, over the years. However, the only man to wife her was Future Ads CEO Jared Pobre, her three children's father.
Tito Santana – Then

While playing college football with the West Texas State Buffaloes, Merced Solis was introduced to wrestling by teammate Tully Blanchard. He went professional in 1977 and was one of the most skilled fighters who helped bring the combat sport under the international spotlight.
Known by the ring name Tito Santana, he took part in the first WrestleMania in 1985 and the eight following. During the height of his career with WWF, Santana won the Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship twice, held the Tag Team Championship twice, and even became King of the Ring in 1989.
Tito Santana – Now

At 67 years, Tito Santana is yet to retire officially. However, he does still appear in the independent circuit although, the appearances aren't widespread. In the present, he reportedly works as a Spanish teacher and basketball coach at Eisenhower Middle School while also teaching wrestling at Independent Wrestling Federation in New Jersey.
Santana received the honor of being inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004, and it's undoubtedly a well-deserved recognition. You'd be surprised to know that Santana accomplished so much professionally while taking care of a family, including three children. He has been married to a salon owner named Leah Solis since 1976.
Kevin Nash – Then

Remember how we mentioned The Undertaker's large frame a while ago? Well, Kevin Nash, measuring six-foot-ten and 328 pounds, was even more prominent. He is mostly remembered for his time with WWF, during which he bore the ring name Diesel. Nash's career accomplishments include the WWF Triple Crown (World, Intercontinental, and Tag Team Championships) and the 1994 Slammy Award for MVP.
In his prime, Nash was also a member of the backstage group, The Kliq. In 2015, he had the privilege of being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and peacefully announced his retirement early in 2020 to allow his body to heal.
Kevin Nash – Now

If you didn't know it already, Kevin Nash is a successful actor today at the age of 61. Well, he's no stranger to working in front of the cameras because his very first acting roles date back to the early '90s. Lately, however, his most notable acting credits have been the Magic Mike movies, Living the Dream, and The Manor. We can also await his work on COVID-19: Invasion.
When it comes to his personal life, Nash has been married to Tamara McMichael since 1988, although they did have a brief falling out in 2000. The couple raised a son named Tristen, who is now a solo musician and poet.
Scott Hall – Then

A founding member of the professional wrestling stable the New World Order (nWo), Scott Hall was born in Maryland but has lived in multiple locations as he was an army brat. In his mid-20s, Hall launched a career in the sport, signing with National Wrestling Alliance.
He has worked with various promotions over the years, but the most memorable was during his tenure as Razor Ramon with WWF and performing under his real name with WCW. The four WWF Intercontinental Championship wins, two World Championship wins, and nine world tag team championship wins are among the highlights of his career.
Scott Hall – Now

To put things simply, Scott Hall's life away from the spotlight has been somewhat challenging. From substance abuse issues to being diagnosed with epilepsy to being charged with second-degree murder to three divorces (twice from the same person), his life has been a bumpy ride.
At 62 years of age, we hope that Hall has learned his fair share of lessons and has a much smoother life. Even though his last appearance was in Traveling the Stars: Action Bronson and Friends Watch Ancient Aliens in 2019, Hall's name emerged in 2020 when he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame for the second time as part of the nWo.
Tori Poch – Then

Teri Poch debuted her wrestling career with Pacific Northwest Wrestling as a valet for Scotty the Body. She had to work her way up for a decade before she managed to secure a deal in the big leagues, which, in this case, is WWF.
At the height of her career, Tori feuded with other female wrestlers like Jacqueline and Ivory. She was probably best known for portraying Kane's on-screen girlfriend, where she influenced some great fights. After tearing her labrum in mid-2000, Tori went off the grid to have surgery only to return in January 2001 as The Black Ninja.
Tori Poch – Now

Teri Poch had been practicing and mastering her yoga skills around the same time. Since she saw more potential in this new practice, she retired from wrestling to build a career as a yoga instructor and yogini. Today, she manages a yoga studio in her native Portland.
It's almost as if yoga was her true calling because none of her early careers (bodybuilding, fitness modeling, and wrestling) worked out as well as yoga did. Over the years, Tori has had a few wrestling-related appearances in four WWE video games, including WWF WrestleMania 2000 and WWF No Mercy.
Ric Flair – Then

Richard Morgan Fliehr's name somehow translated into Ric Flair and became his ring name after he started to pursue wrestling as a profession. Often dubbed as the greatest wrestler of all-time, Flair had a career that spanned just around four decades.
During this time, he has worked with various big promotions and was awarded the "Wrestler of the Year" title by Pro Wrestling Illustrated a record six times. Flair has secured at least 16 world championships during his career, including eight NWA World Heavyweight Championships and six WCW World Heavyweight Championships. He was also the very first Hall of Famer to be inducted twice.
Ric Flair – Now

Ric Flair is retired today, which sounds just right considering he is 71 years old. Unsurprisingly, his post-retirement didn't deviate from pro wrestling, as today, he works as a wrestling manager, currently appearing on Raw as the manager of Lacey Evans.
Lately, you can often find him accompanying his daughter Charlotte to the ring. That's right—not only Charlotte but two out of his other three children were also professional wrestlers although, his youngest, son Reid Flair, passed away from a drug overdose in 2013. Flair also hosted a podcast named "WOOOOO! Nation" between 2015 and 2016.
Ted Dibiase – Then

If you can recall the wrestler who fashioned a gold studded suit covered in dollar signs, it's none other than Ted DiBiase, a.k.a The Million Dollar Man. He even wore a tailor-made diamond-encrusted Million Dollar Championship belt in the latter part of his career.
After launching his career in the mid-'70s, DiBiase found great success as a technical wrestler and came to be called one of the greatest pro wrestling history villains. Mostly noted for his time in WWF/WWE, DiBiase's accolades include a WWE 24/7 Championship, three WWF Tag Team Championships, and a WWF North American Heavyweight Championships.
Ted Dibiase – Now

An injury he suffered in 1993 forced Ted DiBiase's retirement. However, his career wasn't in vain because he'd already held 30 different titles during his active years. Can you guess how much the Million Dollar Man is worth? A million dollars!
DiBiase currently works as a manager and color commentator, signed to work on WWE's Legends program. On an entirely different note, the 67-year-old is also an ordained minister of the Christian church, traveling the world and preaching his faith at churches, camps, and conferences. He is undoubtedly a proud father because all three of his children followed in his footsteps and were professional wrestlers at one point.
Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat – Then

Richard Henry Blood Sr. had the word "blood" in his name, which would've been ideal for creating a frightening moniker for the ring. However, he chose to go with Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, making way for his fiery act.
Steamboat has worked with the American Wrestling Association, Jim Crockett Promotions, WCW, and WWF. He has won countless accolades at the height of his career, including four United States Heavyweight Championships and 12 World Tag Team Championships. Recognized for his exceptional work, his name was formally added to the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009.
Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat – Now

Ricky Steamboat took a step back from pro wrestling and officially announced his retirement in 2010. After him, other family members, such as his younger brother Vic Steamboat and his only child, Richard Blood Jr., also became professional wrestlers.
Now aged 67, Steamboat hasn't had the best of luck when it comes to women. He has been divorced four times in the past and has been in wedded bliss with his fifth wife, Sandi McAlister, since 2017. He currently appears on several video games, most notably those on the 2K Sports franchise.
Sunny – Then

Tammy Lynn Sytch attempted to pursue careers in both law and medicine at college but ended up in an entirely contrasting industry—wrestling. Unlike most other professional wrestlers, Sytch started her career as a manager and even won the 1996 Manager of the Year Award handed out by Pro Wrestling Illustrated.
Often addressed as the first WWF Diva, Sytch adopted the ring name Sunny and participated in the sport, which allowed her to secure one WSU Championship and two Slammy Awards, among others. Her work even earned her a place in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.
Sunny – Now

Tammy Lynn Sytch is still 48 years old, which means she could've easily made more of her career. However, her personal struggles like the cervical cancer diagnosis, multiple arrests, and jail time did affect her profession. It's probably why she gave the impression of an impending retirement to supposedly have a private life.
Even though she was released from prison in February 2020 after more than a year, Sytch went behind bars once again for eluding a police officer and a few other wrongdoings. She is reportedly at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in the present.
Jake “The Snake” Roberts – Then

Remember Aurelian Smith Jr., who later bore the name Jake Roberts while competing in the ring? He was quite literally a vicious guy who often accompanied snakes into the ring, giving him the nickname "The Snake." The most frequent of his visitors was the python (pictured above).
We can only hope that no one in the audience suffered from ophidiophobia (the fear of snakes). During his active years, Roberts was no stranger to winning, primarily made possible by his use of psychology during fights and the banging ending utilizing the DDT move.
Jake “The Snake” Roberts – Now

Today, Jake Roberts isn't the same man that competed all those years ago. He is 65 years old now and currently signed with All Elite Wrestling, where he manages Lance Archer. It doesn't stop there, though. Roberts also works as an actor, currently working on upcoming films: Out of Exile, Cadillac Respect, Alastor, and The Moonshine Gang of Cheyenne.
We're sure his life behind the scenes is just as busy. Even though he doesn't have any commitments towards a spouse (as he is twice divorced), Roberts does have eight children.
Kane – Then

With a staggering height of seven feet and scales measuring 323 pounds, Glenn Thomas Jacobs, a.k.a Kane, was born to become a wrestler. Despite having graduated with an English literature degree, his gigantic stature made the wrestling industry welcome him with open arms.
After initially competing in the independent circuit and a couple of other small promotions, Kane signed with WWF, which opened up the opportunities for him to win three world titles, 12 tag team championships, and two Intercontinental Championships. Other famous figures like Ric Flair and Big Show have addressed Kane with titles as "the best in the world" and "the best big man ever.”
Kane – Now

In recent years, we haven't seen Kane as much as we used to, which may have something to do with him becoming the Mayor of Knox County in September of 2018. The 53-year-old has also got a handful of acting credits under his name, including the lead role of Jacob Goodnight in See No Evil and its sequel.
On August 23, 2020, Kane celebrated his 25th wedding anniversary with Crystal Maurisa Goins. Not only is he a father of two girls, but he is now also a grandfather of two. Did you know that he co-owns an insurance agency in Knoxville, Tennessee, with his wife?
Diamond Dallas Page – Then

He may have been born in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, but Diamond Dallas Page is anything but pleasant inside the ring. Diamond was born with the name Page Joseph Falkinburg and entered wrestling as a manager and color commentator.
However, with the realization that he had the potential to be something more, Diamon went into wrestling himself and won heaps of accolades. Three World Heavyweight Championships, two United States Heavyweight Championships, and four World Tag Team Championships—all under the World Championship Wrestling promotion. Diamond is now retired but never forgettable.
Diamond Dallas Page – Now

The pose in the photo above is not something you'd have expected to see from a wrestling champion like Diamond Dallas Page. However, it could be reasoned with the fact that he is a yoga enthusiast who developed his very own fitness program called Yoga for Regular Guys: The Best Damn Workout on the Planet!.
Over the decades, the 64-year-old has kept up appearances in licensed wrestling video games, mostly under the 2K franchise. Diamond's acting credits are running long, as per his IMDb page, with The Replaceables and Homestead awaiting release. In 2019, he released a book named Positively Unstoppable: The Art of Owning It, which, by the way, wasn't his first.
The Iron Sheik – Then

As you may already know, the word "sheik" is generally used to acknowledge a leader in the Arabic culture. Hossein Khosrow Ali Vaziri, although born in Tehran, Imperial State of Iran, took the ring name "The Iron Sheik" after several attempts with other monikers like Ali Vasari and Great Hossein Arab.
Recognized as a great heel (a villainous character), The Iron Sheik's most successful years were in the '80s, during which he was praised for his excellent execution of the suplex and Camel Clutch maneuver. His name went in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005.
The Iron Sheik – Now

Despite being a villainous character in the ring, The Iron Sheik has begun to show his softer side through constant tweets. It's not something fans would've ever imagined to see from him, but hey, it's good to know he's human, right?
We have seen the 78-year-old on shows like KiddChris and The Howard Stern Show over the years. Plus, how could we forget his acting skills on The Tale of the 3 Mohammads and Operation Belvis Bash, among others? He has been married to Caryl J. Peterson for 45 years and has two daughters (excluding his oldest daughter, who passed away) and five grandchildren.
Barry Horowitz – Then

Born in St. Petersburg, Florida, Barry Harowitz grew up fond of sports, particularly wrestling. It led him to earn a higher education in sports nutrition and wrestling from Florida State University before embarking on a wrestling career.
Harowitz was initially trained under Boris Malenko and competed in the independent circuit before signing with promotions like WWF and NWA. Despite being identified as a jobber (a losing performer in wrestling jargon), he did have a surprise win against the late BodDonna Skip. As the years went by, Harowitz made his way into the circle of big stars and even secured multiple championships.
Barry Horowitz – Now

As it appears, Barry Horowitz's glory days are in the past, as his matches in 2013 seem to have been his last. Today, he is 61 years old, and his work appears to be limited to wrestling meet and greets at conventions and special events.
If you are a fan and are keen on meeting him, you can keep an eye out on his Facebook page, which typically has any upcoming dates. Horowitz also shares the occasional photo from his heyday, which does a good job at kicking in the nostalgia.
