Stay Away From The Docks!

Affluent families tend to have private docks to park their own boats. People like to go by the water to get some stunning shots for their photo album. However, it's never wise for groups to climb onto a small dock to pose.

Since private docks aren't regularly maintained and aren't usually built to hold multiple people at a time, this pier gave up as the weight was too much. As it appears, the men managed to get away, although the women weren't so fortunate. It's best to stay away from risky places on your big day.

Friends Don't Always Make Smart Choices

Sharing a drink with a friend is never a bad idea—even if it's on your big day. After all, what harm can a glass of Champagne do? Except, in this case, they opted to drink straight from the bottle, despite having a glass in her hand.

Both the soon-to-be wife and her friend should've known better than to pour a bottle of bubbly directly into the mouth. As you can see, things got pretty messy quickly. Perhaps the friend poured it too fast. Somehow, the woman's locks, makeup, and gown were all ruined. She must've been fuming!

When You Can't Stand The Sight Of True Love

Some people have failed at relationships so many times that they have convinced themselves that true love doesn't exist. If you're still single, attending a friend or family member's wedding might be a challenging task, as it reminds you of the things you don't have.

Of course, the elders don't make it easier when they keep questioning when you're getting married. This bridesmaid looks like she's going to be sick at the sight of displays of affection. This woman's facial expressions hilariously ruined her friend's cozy photo with her husband.

Not The Honeymoon They Were Hoping For

Once the nuptials are over, you'd think half of a couple's worries on their dream day is done. All they would now need to worry about is the reception. Well, this couple must have been on their way when their car broke down and caught fire on the side of the road.

As it appears, renting a vintage car may be good for the photos but not so reliable on the road. You can see that the bride is still smiling, trying to laugh off the unfortunate turn of events on her big day. However, the groom doesn't look like he's in the best mood.

When You Wanted Some Majestic Photos But Your Horse Had Other Plans

We're assuming this woman grew up getting horse-riding lessons because, if not, she should've known this attempt at getting pictures on a horse would be a disaster. Either way, she didn't have much luck with the photos because the horse decided to dump her off its back and gallop away.

Perhaps it was feeling envious that she had found a husband while it was still single. Somehow, the photographer did get a snap of the woman's unfortunate fall before rushing in to help her. Hopefully, she didn't have any serious injuries that forced a postponement.

Well Wishes From A Beluga Whale

When you choose to have your marriage photos taken at an aquarium, you can expect a special guest or two to bring some good luck. In this case, the young couple was greeted by a beluga whale that looks like it is smiling for the photo.

This once-in-a-lifetime picture was captured at the Mystic Aquarium in Mystic, Connecticut, in 2013. As you can see, the couple was elated to have the special guest in the photo, and it will certainly be a photo that they are going to treasure for an eternity.

A Farm Wasn't The Right Choice For Wedding Pictures

This couple decided to have their wedding photoshoot on a farm at sunset, and we're pretty sure they were regretting their decision right around the same time this photo was captured. They were greeted by a cow, who didn't seem too happy that they were in its habitat.

It looks like it was ready to charge forward and strike the couple. The woman somehow looks calm. We wish we could say the same about the man. Then again, there's always the possibility that the cow was edited into the photo, and the two are great posers.

When You Forget You're Indoors

Men really do enjoy throwing the groom up in the air on his wedding day. It's a common picture we've seen all too many times. However, in this case, the groom's friends were reckless. They were probably a bit intoxicated and didn't realize that they were indoors or that the roof wasn't too far up.

The friends got together and threw the groom in the air, knocking him against the roof. It may be amusing, but it's also quite dangerous. The groom looks like he hit his head pretty hard, and we're hoping he didn't have a concussion.

Too Much Of Anything Is Good For Nothing

You may have seen it in movies and experienced it in real life—the tradition of attendees throwing confetti or flower petals at the couple when they leave the church after getting married. This couple went with birdseed instead, which didn't go as well as they expected.

As everyone was throwing the birdseed at the newly wedded couple, there was one person who had a little too much of it in hand. Perhaps he/she didn't realize it as they threw the whole lot at the couple. It may not look like much in the photo, but it sure must've ruined the appearance, especially of the woman.

A Venue To Match The Wedding Budget

We all know that some people like to spend thousands of dollars on their big day. However, many are now coming to their senses and are trying to plan the function by spending as little as possible. This woman went very low on the budget and even reflected on that by having her formal photoshoot at the Dollar Tree.

Perhaps she is a loyal customer at the store, or maybe the place has some sentimental value. For instance, she may have met her husband while shopping there. Either way, it's a unique venue that not many others have utilized as such.

No More Dieting

Women tend to go above and beyond to make sure they achieve a svelte figure as their big day is closing in. They achieve their dream bodies by working out and also by following a strict diet. In simple words, they'd do anything to look their best on their big day.

This woman is probably a foodie who spent months saying no to her favorite food items because she needed to fit into that stunning gown. When the day finally came, she was relieved that she wasted no time grabbing all of her favorites.

Somebody Get The Man Some Coffee!

Matrimony is a big deal for young couples because they go in hoping that it'll be a one-time thing. Therefore, they put in a lot of effort and planning to their big day to make sure everything runs smoothly. Sometimes, too much planning makes you forget to have some strong coffee beforehand.

While the wife looks like she is enjoying some coffee mid-reception, her husband has dozed off. It could either be because he got little to no sleep or the more plausible option; he had a little too much to drink. The groom passing out drunk is not the best start to a marriage!

Are Centaurs No Longer Mythological?

This photo will prove that angles are critical when it comes to the art of photography. One wrong angle and the picture can look like something out of this world. Take the photo above, for example. It looks like a wedding photo of a female centaur, which is baffling as we thought they were mythological creatures.

Well, fear not because it is, in fact, a human, with her gown spreading over the white horse, giving the illusion of a centaur. Luckily for her, it was just a hilarious photo. It could've been worse, considering there were people on the list falling off their horses.

Crazy Photobomb Placement

You get to see a new social media "challenge" every week in this day and age. From the ice bucket challenge to the Kylie Jenner lip challenge to the planking challenge, there's no end to it. The man in the background looks like he took the planking challenge to the next level. Way to photobomb someone's wedding snaps!

In this case, we assume the couple is in on it. Why else would the photographer capture it when clearly a man is trying not to fall in the background? For the sake of his efforts, we hope this photo got many likes and comments.

Did I Marry The Wrong Person?

Most couples who go as far as to get married tend to establish a comfortable relationship. Sometimes, this means that they would play pranks and annoy each other in the most creative ways possible. However, one would think that their big day would be a no-prank day.

The groom in the picture disagreed. During their photoshoot, the groom went to kiss his best man instead of his wife, putting the rest of the group in shock. The bride is particularly baffled and is probably wondering if she married someone with a different personal orientation. We're hoping that it was all a joke.

When You Want Your Wedding Photos To Stand Out

You need to be in an enjoyable and open-minded relationship to get your partner to agree on something like this. Instead of regular photos with boring old poses, this couple thought it would be hilarious to get their wedding photos professionally edited into something out of this world.

They didn't just get the backgrounds changed, but they had the editor transform them into centaurs (half-human half-horse creatures). We're guessing their parents weren't thrilled about this absurd idea. But they can use these photos to trick their future children into believing their parents were born as centaurs.

Too Much Royal Drama In One Day

Everyone knows that when there's a royal wedding, the whole world is eagerly eyeing every little aspect. According to GH, in 2011, when Prince William and Kate Middleton tied the knot, over two billion people watched it live.

The photo above went viral shortly after the event, not because it depicts William and Kate going for their first kiss, but because one of their four little bridesmaids, Grace van Cutsem, was frustrated with everything. Grace is Willaim's goddaughter, who was only three at the time. She was probably overwhelmed with the loud cheers and exhausted from a day in the spotlight. Grace became famous after the photo was taken!

When Your Uncle Is Too Cool To Act Normal

Every family has that really cool aunt or uncle who could just steal the show at any family gathering. It's all fun and exciting until he decides to do so on your big day. How dare he try to steal the thunder from the bride?

Somehow, this couple didn't seem to be affected by their uncle's acrobatic session while the formal photos were being taken. In fact, the whole entourage looks like they're struggling to hold in their laughter after seeing his funny act. Regardless, we're more concerned about why the uncle hasn't dressed appropriately!

When You Want To Get Married But The Weather Isn't Cooperating

Generally, women put a lot of thought into their magical day. They go through extra trouble to make sure they have the perfect wedding dress, a matching veil, accessories, and flowers that set the mood. The woman above is no exception.

She fashioned a stunning gown and was in the middle of posing for the photos that would go in the photo album. The photographer asked her to pose with an umbrella, but he picked the wrong day. It wasn't the best weather to be outdoors as the winds were harsh. You can see the girl struggling with a flipped umbrella while trying to keep her outfit together.

When A Magical Day Goes Into Full Blown Chaos Mode

Most people will usually have an intimate ceremony for the nuptials and then throw a party elsewhere to celebrate the union. Family and friends would gather at a pre-planned venue to enjoy food and drinks, share stories/speeches, congratulate the couple, and dance until their legs hurt.

Before the party goes wild, the convention is to cut the cake, which is often opulent and a couple of tiers high. Sadly, the person carrying this cake lost control and tripped, making the cake nothing more than a delicious mess. Although it looks like the bystanders are still clapping in the photo, we're sure the emotions that followed were not all so cheery.

Thinking Out The Box A Little Too Much

Remember the good old days when a white ball gown and black tuxedo did the trick for couples who got married? Well, it looks like the traditional wedding attire is a thing of the past. This couple decided to spice things up a notch by wearing slightly more casual clothes.

Of course, the wife-to-be still chose to wear a white gown, but it was embellished with handpainted decorative writing that reads "Wifey." On the other hand, the groom fashioned an oversized white T-shirt and hip hop cap with similar embellishments. The entourage was no different. What are your feelings about this?

Wedding Inspired By The Flintstones

This photo takes us back to that time when Fred Flintstone wore a tuxedo on The Flintstones. While we have often come across couples that try to fashion unique clothes on their big day, this one particularly stands out. The men are all wearing sleeveless shirts and jackets, paired with denim pants.

Take a good look at the photo above because it's certainly not something you see every day. This may have been an all-male plan because the woman is wearing a pretty conventional dress. Hopefully, she wasn't mad at her soon-to-be husband.

Couples Who Laugh Together, Stay Together

One of the traits that most women look for in a man's personality is humor. This woman has hit the jackpot with her husband as he looks like a fun person to be around. But he also doesn't want to leave her alone for one minute.

The bride probably wanted to get a nice picture alone with her bridesmaids on her special day. Even though the men were sent away, her husband came around to the window behind the group and made a funny face against the glass. The ladies had no idea, but we're sure they had a good laugh once they saw the photo.

Who Said Humans Were The Only Photo-Bombers?

We have seen plenty of photobombing pictures while browsing social media platforms. However, what we would generally come across are those of humans playfully ruining other people's pictures. In this case, you're in for an awesome surprise.

A couple was snapping some photos on a lawn with picturesque mountain views in the background. While this couple thought they were posing for a perfect shot, little did they know that a cat's rear end was blocking the camera. Unless this was a self-timed picture, the photographer must have captured it on purpose, hoping it would bring out some good laughs.

That Time Waldo Stole The Spotlight

This is what happens when you want to incorporate your favorite childhood book character into your wedding. Waldo is the star of the British children's book series, Where's Wally?. The couple that tied the knot here decided to add a little extra touch to their big day by getting someone to dress up as Waldo and hide in the background.

It gives meaning to the series Where's Waldo? as you literally had to find where he is in the picture. We're hoping that's how this went, and it wasn't just another photobomb.

Extreme Cost-Cutting Techniques

Remember when we said people are coming to their senses by having simpler and less expensive weddings? Well, this couple seems to be exaggerating that point. They look like one of those couples who had their ceremony in their backyard as this particular photo was taken inside a house.

It must have been a very intimate gathering because they tried to cut down on the costs so much that the groom ended up going shirtless, wearing only a bowtie. The woman wore a sleeveless gown, veil, flower crown, and a pearl necklace. Perhaps the groom was trying to compensate for her expenses.

When It All Comes Tumbling Down

This young couple had great style, fashionable outfits, hired an experienced photographer to capture their special day's memorable moments, and paid for an extravagant cake. As the photos depict, the cake didn't survive long enough to be sliced and served.

At least, the photographer did his job well and captured the unforgettable events. He could catch on camera the unfortunate structural failure of the table with the cake on it. Even though the groom did his best to save it, nothing could be done. It's a shame because it looked delicious with all the macarons. This memory will surely haunt the couple for many years.

Hopefully, A Crucial Moment Wasn't Interrupted

Remember when priests officiated marriages? Well, those days are ancient history because, in the present, anyone can get ordained by simply registering online and paying a fee. At this wedding, the couple's marriage officiant was a woman.

Everything was flowing smoothly until the officiant was feeling sick. She felt the need to vomit, and unfortunately, couldn't hold it in until the ceremony ended or at least until she could rush to the restroom. She threw up in the middle of the ceremony, most likely because she partied a little too hard the previous night or because she ate something bad. Either way, it wasn't a pretty picture.

Not The Best Start To The Honeymoon Trip

After the ceremony and reception are both done and dusted, the newlyweds wave goodbye to the attendees and take off on their honeymoon in their car. Some people prefer vintage automobiles, whereas others prefer modern and fancy rides.

This couple opted for a convertible, and when it was time, they got in, sat on the top of the seats, and waved goodbye. The chauffeur was probably too excited to drive the fancy car, and therefore, accelerated too fast, causing the newlywed woman to backflip out the moving vehicle. As embarrassing as the incident was, we sincerely hope she was okay.

When The Wedding Gown Looks Like A Handkerchief

Getting children involved in your marriage ceremony comes with its fair share of pros and cons. While they add some cuteness to the photos, they also come with mischief. Take these little guys, for example. The one on the right looks well behaved.

However, we can't say the same about the one on the left. You may think there's nothing wrong with the photo upon first glance, but zoom in, and you'll realize that the child on the left is using the train of the bride's gown as a handkerchief. We hope someone stopped him before he got any boogers in there!

No One Saw This "Un-Invitation" Coming

While some people wish they had more family members to be present on their dream day, others have too many. Event venues can only accommodate so many people, which is unfortunate for those who have hundreds of family members and friends.

This couple thought it was courteous to write an "un-invitation" letter to everyone they couldn't have on their big day. Surely, those who receive this letter are already upset, and things only got worse after seeing what this couple included at the end. They had the audacity to go ahead and ask the "un-invitees" for cash to help their honeymoon!

Stealing The Bride's Thunder

These days, formal events would specify a dress code and color on the invitation, and we bet it started with awkward situations like this one. The wife-to-be probably thought a dress code was unnecessary until a friend of hers showed up at the event wearing a white party frock.

We all know what that means. A white party gown is typically very similar to a wedding dress. Looking at this photo, we can't figure out which one's the groom's partner. Talk about stealing another woman's thunder! It's never wise to assume that people know not to wear white for someone else's big day.

When Your Husband Is An Engineer

Lately, having outdoor events has become a trend. People spend thousands of dollars on lights, flowers, and decorations to make sure it's the perfect setting. However, one might overlook an important factor—the lavatories for the guests. You can't just leave people to their own devices when nature calls.

Luckily for this woman, the man she married knew a thing or two about construction. Perhaps he's an engineer or an avid fan of Bob the Builder. Anyway, he put together an affordable toilet with plumbing going to the ground. According to The Guardian, Urine is rich in nitrogen and phosphorus, making it a functional fertilizer. Two birds with one stone!

Thanos's RSVP Got Lost In The Mail

Generally, people would opt for elegant attire when attending someone's special day. However, things look a lot more casual at this couple's ceremony. The attendees are all comfortable, wearing sweatshirts and shorts until you see the special guest at the back.

He looks like he is too much of a Marvel fan, as he went with a Thanos Halloween costume. We can tell that he took his costume seriously as he even went above and beyond to complete the look with the Infinity Gauntlet glove. Well, at least one person took their time to get ready for the wedding.

The Perfect Candid Shot

Usually, people like to smile, say cheese, or show the peace sign when capturing a photo. When the said photo is your wedding picture, people will opt for more affectionate poses like hugs, kisses, etc. This group photo is something way beyond any of it.

It could've been pre-planned, but we like to think something shocking happened as the photographer snapped the photo. Hence, the candid shot. Perhaps someone tripped or even threw a punch (you never know). Either way, the whole group of seven seems to be in utter shock, especially the groom.

That's No Way To Attend Church!

At first glance, you may think that the group of women in this photo are all without clothes covering their top halves. It's even more disturbing, seeing as they are attending a church union. What is going on here? Well, we're pretty sure they were wearing strapless or tube top designs that we just can't see because of the pew.

It's a go-to design for bridesmaids and even guests these days. Hopefully, they weren't too revealing because that would steal the show from the bride and be highly inappropriate, given the venue.

The Vampire Bride And Her Husband

Most people tend to be calm and well-behaved during the ceremony and let all hell break loose during the after-party. It's where the real fun happens—the dancing, long speeches, and of course, the booze. This couple looks like they're more buzzed than the guests.

For one, their faces are pretty red and showing signs of intoxication. Secondly, they have devoured the cake way too fast and have what looks like a berry filling smeared all over their mouths. This is definitely not something you want to see among the photos of your big day. She looks like a vampire bride!

When Your Dad Almost Ruined Your Wedding Attire

Their wedding day is one that females dream about since they're kids. One of the day's main events that they imagine in their heads is them walking down the aisle. It's usually a short journey full of emotions, during which the wife-to-be is often accompanied by her father.

This girl had her dad walk her down the aisle and give her away to her husband. The father was probably very emotional at this moment, which is why he didn't notice he was stepping on his daughter's veil. Everyone around was shocked. It looks like his quick reflex to jump aside saved the day.

Who Said You Could Breathe Around The Cake?

There are heaps of talented people out there who can whip up beautiful and decadent cakes. The taste and looks don't matter if the structure is unable to support itself. Whoever made this couple's wedding cake didn't get the engineering right.

They didn't provide sufficient support for the cake to stand sturdy by itself, so much so that it collapsed when the couple was about to cut it. You can see the couple trying to save it, but looking at the photo, we don't think they had much luck. It's a shame because it looks like it would've been a tasty one.

When There Are Two Identical Brides At The Wedding

We never get to see ourselves unless it's in a photo or a reflection. However, this man's wife got to see her identical self as a cake on her special day. We're hoping this wasn't a prank because she doesn't look thrilled.

Perhaps she thought that the imposter was way more good-looking than her. Everything from the design of the frock to the accessories to the hairstyle matched perfectly. We must give props to the baker who made the cake because he/she has done a marvelous job. Also, we hope it tasted as good as it looks.

Sunken Pier Makes Way For A Pool Party

The day of your marriage is probably not the best day to take any risks. However, that didn't stop this wedding party of 12 from crowding up this narrow pier to capture a group photo. Seeing as how small the dock was, they should've known better than to put so much weight on it.

Somehow, seconds after they posed for the photo, the whole group could feel the pier sinking, submerging them all in the water. How quickly did their special day change into a pool party? If it was only the couple, they could've survived and had some wonderful pictures.

I'm Lovin' It

After seeing this photo, you should always scan around McDonald's because you never know if a wedding is taking place. This couple kept things simple by having their marriage officiated at the nearest McDonald's.

We wonder if it was a spur of the moment decision because they are dressed casually as if they were going to grab lunch. Even though things aren't traditional in their nuptials, the couple seems to be so in love as they wander deep into each other's eyes. We're guessing they treated themselves to a Big Mac meal afterward.

Not An Experienced Photographer

Just because a person owns a camera doesn't make them a professional photographer. The picture above will vouch for that. You can see that the groom's tall frame completely shadows his wife's face. Even someone who knows the couple wouldn't be able to identify her.

When working with a high-quality digital device, you should know that there are adjustments to be made. The aperture, ISO, shutter speed are examples. This photographer clearly knows very little about taking a decent photo because even an amateur could've done way better.

Because A Limousine Outdoors Is Too Mainstream

Once again, a couple had some insane requests for the editing of their wedding photos. The original photo looks like it was taken near the staircase rail of a rustic mansion. Anyone can tell that the limousine was edited into the photo because why would someone park their extra-long car inside the house? In addition, that would be physically impossible.

Either way, we're confused about what gave them the idea of Photoshopping a limo inside a mansion in the first place. Also, the edits could have been better if you ask us.

Some People Just Hate Photographs

It doesn't matter if you're young or old; some people just can't stand being in a photograph. Look at this little guy. He was so done with everything and didn't want to show his face in this photo. We hope he didn't refuse to pose for all the wedding photos because that would've been a disappointment.

Perhaps he was getting sick of posing for the hundreds of photos taken at the photoshoot. The little girls are all bubbly as the couple shares a kiss, but the little man was over it.

The Flower Girl Stealing The Show

When it comes to the flower girls and page boys, people get the kids of their friends or family members to fulfill the roles. While some kids can be grumpy and mopey, others enjoy getting dressed up, getting their hair done, and being the center of attention.

Of course, they often have no clue about what any of it means. Either way, this little girl was enjoying her walk down the aisle as a flower girl. She didn't have a care in the world that everyone was looking, and therefore, went on to pick her nose the entire way. Well, you can't expect much from the kids, can you?

Why Is It That Only the Bride Gets A Veil?

The tradition of brides wearing a veil has been around for centuries. In fact, according to Easy Weddings, it has been around for as long as the concept of marriage. It adds a certain wow factor to their appearance as they would usually walk down the aisle with their faces covered with the veil.

Later during the ceremony, the wife's dolled up face would be revealed to the crowd. Unfortunately, men don't have such moments on the big day, although this groom did. The wind made sure that he got a moment with his wife's veil, and it certainly gave a wonderful photo to reminisce about.

Keep The Flowers Away From Dogs

Having children out of wedlock is no big deal these days. But some people wait to have human children until after they are married and fill their homes with joy before they get puppies. This couple had a pet dog they loved so dearly that they made it part of their marriage ceremony.

Somehow, it looks like they didn't think things through. As the photographer was snapping a beautiful candid photo of this couple, the dog was getting hungry and took a bite of the bouquet. It smells lovely, so why not? It made for a funny wedding day snap and most likely made it to the album.

A Wedding In The City Limits

Getting married and partying in the city is one thing, but choosing to have your photoshoot in the middle of a busy capital is certainly a challenging task. This couple looks like they were born for a challenge. In their matching blue suits, the two men decided to snap a photo in the middle of the road on the pedestrian crossing.

Of course, that meant that they had to wait until the lights turned red. But it also meant that they had to get a picture in while other people were also crossing the road. Luckily for them, their picture was photobombed by more dogs than humans, adding the cute factor.

A Moment Before It All Became Chaotic

Like every other couple that gets married, these two were also probably elated to be uniting in marriage. After exchanging their vows at the ceremony, they were partying hard with those they held near and dear. Unfortunately, this photo was captured seconds before hell broke loose.

As you can see, a man standing on the side (who is possibly pretty buzzed) wished the couple well and toasted to them with the beverage in his hand. He probably didn't think that the glass was full. The bride was seconds away from transforming into a hot mess. Let's hope that it wasn't a hot drink.

Behold The Floating Bride

Unlike the traditional bride, this woman decided to fashion a short frock on her big day. It was around knee-length, which is why this photo turned out how it did. At first glance, you could convince anyone that she was some sort of floating mystical creature.

However, anyone who looks closer would know better. The couple decided to have some fun and jump up for a photo. Even though the groom couldn't do much, his soon-to-be wife went all in and even managed to tuck her legs behind. Well, now you know the secret behind her levitation.
