Culver's, a restaurant chain knows for its burgers, frozen custard, and cheese curds, is bringing cheese to the next level. They will soon release the CurderBurger, which is precisely what it sounds like...

The Real CurderBurger

Just like most fast-food companies, Culver's loves to trick fans with an April Fools joke. So, last year, on both Twitter and Facebook, the restaurant chain announced a new item: the CurderBurger. "One big Wisconsin Cheese Curd under a lightly buttered, toasted bun. Isn't it beautiful?" the post said on April 1, with the above photo attached. As you can it, its nothing more than a huge, fried cheese curd resting between two buns. Of course, it was a joke. "And before you ask your local restaurant for a CurderBurger, we recommend checking today's date," a later tweet read.

However, fans absolutely loved the idea! So, over the past few months, Culver's has worked on a fried cheese curd topped cheeseburger. That's right. Read on to find out when you can purchase the real CurderBurger!

Only At Culver's For A Limited Time

The new Curderburger will only be available on October 15. Instead of just a giant cheddar cheese curd on a bun, it will have a giant fried cheese puck on top of a Deluxe ButterBurger. That includes American cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and mayo. Some reviewers have already tasted the burger - and they say it's totally worth it! "And yeah, fresh cheese curd melting through a golden deep-fried crust onto a ButterBurger tastes as good as it sounds," the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel wrote.

When asked why they created such a burger, those at Culver's said it was a no-brainer after the incredible response they had on April 1. "Really, why couldn't we? How would we go about making this a reality. That would be cool if we could make that work," Quinn Adkins, Culver's director of menu development, explained.

The CurderBurger will cost around $5.79, but the price will vary according to locations nationwide. Once again, despite being in every spot, it's a limited-time offer. Adkins and the Culver's communications team advise not waiting around for dinner.
