Lee Majors, 82 , Born In 1939 - The Six Million Dollar Man

One of the first roles that Lee Majors ever got to play was Heath in The Big Valley series of the late ‘60s. Less than a decade later, he would land the role that would shape his career, being the protagonist in The Six Million Dollar Man. Yeung's latest acting job, The Whole World at Our Feet, was also an international production, reuniting famous actors from the United States, Japan, and even Kazhakstan! He's still active at the age of 75, but he hasn't been on screen since 2015. A new documentary about his life, titled Chinese Hercules: The Bolo Yeung Story, is currently being produced.

Paul Hogan, 81, Born In 1939 - Crocodile Dundee

Paul Hogan aka Michael Dundee, aka Crocodile Dundee, took the world by storm when he starred in the 1986 film of the latter name. He wrote directed and starred, and for his efforts was rewarded with an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay and a Golden Globe win for Best Actor.

Two sequels would follow Crocodile Dundee II and Crocodile Dundee In Los Angeles. Neither film was received as well as the first, although Hogan did have some other heartfelt films such as Flipper and Charlie & Boots. In 2020 he dusted his Crocodile Dundee hat off for another go in a film called The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee.

The ever-lovely American country music superstar/actress Barbara Mandrell has retired in 2000, after years of landing hit after hit and collecting many accolades. A best-selling country icon, Mandrell is also known as The Sweetheart of the Steel and has appeared in some notable productions as an actress, including Walker, Texas Ranger, and Sunset Beach.

She gave her final pre-retirement concert in 1997 at the legendary Nashville venue Grand Ole Opry House but has since enjoyed short comeback spells. In 2005, for instance, she surprised her fans with Back In The Saddle, her newest (and final) original record.

Although Caren Marsh stopped being an actress towards the end of the '40s, she is still regarded as one for having worked on numerous films in the earlier part of her career. However, as far as skill is concerned, she emerged to become a dancer and was famously hired as Judy Garland's dance stand-in for  The Wizard Of Oz.

Although her parents wanted her to pursue further education, possibly a college degree, she chose to enter the profession directly. After  The Gabby Hayes Show in 1956, she left acting and became a full-time dance instructor.

It's surprising that Mickey Kuhn rose in prominence for his work in  Gone With The Wind, considering he was only around 7 years old at the time. But, being one of the only three surviving cast members of the film today shows how far back Kuhn's career goes.

However, when the time was right to enroll in a film school, Kuhn decided to retire from show-business, and instead went for a career in commercial aviation. He last appeared on a few episodes of the TV show  Alfred Hitchcock Presents.

Jimmy Lydon's entry into the film world was not a planned venture. Even if he wanted to, his family did not have enough funds to send him to film school. Hence, he had to start acting by lying about past work experience in the field to land auditions. His trick worked, and his first role was in a Broadway play called  Western Waters.

Louise is probably best known for her role in the TV sitcom  Gilligan's Island. However, she refused to participate in the reunion films. Her breakthrough film role came in 1958 with  God's Little Acre. After that, she landed many roles in Hollywood movies such as  The Hangman, The Stepford Wives, and For Those Who Think Young.

She also released one record album entitled  It's Time for Tina. Tina was married to Les Crane, but the two filed for divorce in 1971.  The 84-year-old's most recent project was 2015's  White Lillies.

Right around the time when aspiring actors enroll in a film school, Joe Turkel enrolled in the US Army as the country engaged in World War II. But as soon as he was done with that, he came back to pursue his dream.

His most famous role has to be in  Blade Runner as Dr. Elden Tyrell, although how can we not mention his eccentric and soul-shaking performance as Lloyd in  The Shining? He appeared for one final time in 1998 in an episode of  Boy Meets World, although he was seen in a few documentaries after that as well.

Donna Martell, 93 , Born In 1927 -  Grace Kelly

Towards the end of the '40s, Donna Martell kick-started her career with  Apache Rose. However, as the '50s arrived, she shifted focus to TV shows, famously in  Cavalcade of America and  Cheyenne. She did not get any formal high education, though it would've gone to waste anyway considering her career came to a halt at the beginning of the '60s, and we're not sure why.

She did just one more role after two decades in the 1983 TV film  Grace Kelly, but that was the last time we saw her on-screen.

Conrad Janis, 93 , Born In 1928 -  Bad Blood

You may know Conrad Janis as an actor, and rightfully so, considering he has performed in around 99 roles over the course of his acting career. But Janis has also striven throughout his life to keep the traditional jazz music alive, playing the trombone.

There is no record of him having attended any film schools, although he seems to have done quite well without it as well. He last performed in the 2012 film  Bad Blood, which he also edited, produced, and directed. Hopefully, we'll see something more from him in the future.

Peggy Dow, 93 , Born In 1928 -  I Want You

She was born with the name Peggy V. Varnadow, which she changed to Helmerich after marrying her husband Walter Helmerich III, although professionally, she came to be known simply as Peggy Dow. Peggy attended Northwestern University, but instead of getting a university-level media degree, she graduated from the School of Communication which did offer rehearsal spaces to help her practice her craft.

Her career ended just after three years when she married Helmerich, with one final role in the film,  I Want You.

Nancy Olson, 93 , Born In 1928 -  Dumbbells

Unlike many of her contemporaries, Nancy Olson has not retired even now that she is close to hitting 90, and that's maybe because she has enjoyed a very lucrative career over the years. The actress started out towards the end of the '40s and received an Oscar nomination quite early just two years later for her film,  Sunset Boulevard.

She is a Democrat at heart and often donates substantially to the party, although none could actually call that charity. After the '80s, she does make an occasional appearance in a movie or TV show, her latest being in the 2014 film,  Dumbbells.

Ann Blyth, 93 , Born In 1928 -  Murder, She Wrote

We are lucky to have Ann Blyth still with us as she is one of the last surviving actresses from what has come to be known as Hollywood's Golden Age. Blyth started out with Broadway after having spent six years on children's radio shows. After signing a deal with Universal Studios, her film debut came with  Chip of the Old Block.

But her most notable role remains in  Mildred Pierce, which also earned her an Oscar nomination. She entered retirement in 1985 after one last appearance on an episode of the TV show,  Murder, She Wrote.

Kris Kristofferson, 85 , Born In 1936 -  Kristofferson

Kris Kristofferson is surely among the top country singers in the world, having written numerous hit tunes. Many people believe that his self-titled album is the best he ever released. He's also a very successful actor who has won a Golden Globe Award for his performance in  A Star Is Born.

While Kristofferson is still active in the industry, he suffers from Lyme Disease and needs to be treated frequently. The now 82-year-old singing star has 8 children.

According to a 1970 news piece, Kathleen Hughes developed an interest in acting after watching a Donald O'Connor film, as she thought it looked like fun. Her acting career was mostly divided between 20th Century Fox and then later Universal Studios.

Although she never officially embraced retirement, we thought her acting career did come to a stop in 1998 after eight years of inactivity with one final yet small role. However, she appeared in a short called  Swamp Women Kissing Booth in 2018, so we may get to see more of her after all!

Chevy Chase is unstoppable at 74 and has no worries about a retirement investment yet. We met him when he was 35 in his first leading role in the mystery-thriller/comedy,  Foul Play.

However, even before that, Chase had already tried out quite a few professions before deciding that what he really wanted was to become an actor! Chase's last movie was a Netflix flick titled  The Last Laugh, where he co-stars with Richard Dreyfuss.

Terry Moore, 92 , Born In 1929 -  Ray Donovan

Terry Moore is not slowing down even though most of her acting contemporaries have retired since long ago. According to IMDb, Moore has four upcoming projects in 2018 and 2019 combined, including the much anticipated  Saving Flora.

Her last appearance was in 2016 on an episode of  Ray Donovan, so it seems she is picking up the pace yet again and will be returning to the screen as she used to in the good old days.

Melissa Sue Anderson is better known by her character's name. You must know her by Mary Ingalls from hit drama series  Little House on the Prairie that aired on NBC network from 1974 till 1981.

After that, Melissa became an instant icon and through the years she got herself roles in various horror/science fiction projects. While the actress still has the scope in Hollywood, she occasionally appears on TV and she has taken the duties of a stay-at-home mother.

Did you know that Van Dyke finished school in 2004 when he was 78 years old? Well, that is the kind of amazing life he has lived so far, and the actor, who is now in his 90s, continues to make films. You will soon see him alongside the likes of Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt in the much-awaited  Mary Poppins Returns come December 2018.

You usually expect actors with Emmys, a Tony, and a Grammy, to at least have a media degree. Instead, Van Dyke initially wanted to serve in the military and was rejected numerous times for being underweight.

Margaret Kerry, 92 , Born In 1929 -  Public Access

Technically, Margaret Kerry is still working, even though her last acting project was in the 1993 film  Public Access. Her career started when she was still in school, which makes sense considering she was born in the hub of films, Los Angeles.

She made education her priority and graduated from Los Angeles City College, although we're not sure which field her degree was in. She most recently published her own biography titled  Tinker Bell Talks: Tales of a Pixie Dusted Life in 2016.

Ted Donaldson, 88 , Born In 1933 -  The Silent Service

Ted Donaldson didn't need to go to a film school because he began his acting career around the age of 4 and grew up making films, thereby gaining more experience in the field that many do at a much later stage in life.

Donaldson wanted to do other things in life, and for just this reason he left show-business in his 20s, making his last credited appearance on the TV show  The Silent Service in 1958.

Eva Marie Saint, 97 , Born In 1924 -  Winter's Tale

Eva Marie Saint realized her dream of becoming an actress by enrolling in an acting degree program at the Bowling Green State University, and now the university has a theater named after her. From then on, for around seven decades, Eva Marie has relentlessly worked as an actress and has won multiple awards for her amazing performances, including an Oscar for her 1954 film  On The Waterfront.

She most recently appeared for a small role in  Winter's Tale and lent her voice for a character on the animated TV series,  The Legend of Korra.

John Astin, 91 , Born in 1930 -  The Addams Family

His most famous role remains that of Gomez Addams from  The Addams Family. He also reprised his role in the 1977 film  Halloween with the Addams Family. John Austin also appeared in  West Side Story,  The Touch of Mink, and  Move Over Darling among many others.

He earned a drama degree at John Hopkins University where he also teaches acting and directing. The actor is still very much active even at 88 years old.

Robert Wagner, 91 , Born in 1930 -  It Takes a Thief

Even if you have forgotten his roles in  It Takes A Thief and  Switch, you may remember his more recent role as Teddy Leopold from  Two and a Half Men where he portrays the love interest of Charlie and Alan Harper's mother.

Robert Wagner also appeared in the  Austin Powers trilogy as well as in  The Pink Panther, Harper, and many more. The 88-year-old is still working despite a $15-million net worth. Last year, he appeared in  What Happened to Monday as Charles Benning.

Harry Belafonte, 94 , Born in 1927 -  Calypso

Harry Belafonte is undoubtedly one of the most famous Jamaican-American pop stars who made a huge success with his 1956 album  Calypso. Harry is a singer, songwriter, actor, and social activist who is still active despite his advanced age.

The 91-year-old was an honorary co-chair of the Women's March on Washington in 2017. He and his ex-wife filed for divorce after 47 years of marriage. He also has 5 grandchildren.

Larry Storch, 98 , Born in 1923 -  Tennessee Tuxedo and His Tales

You may have forgotten all about him, but this 95-year old comedian is still very much alive. He started his career as a stand-up comic and then started making guest appearances in TV series such as  Car 54, Where Are You?, Hennesey, and  Get Smart.

Larry Storch spent his entire life with his wife Norma Catherine Greve until she died in 2003. Larry is now enjoying his well-deserved retirement and in 2014, he was honored with a Golden Palm Star on the California Walk of Stars.

Elin Nordegren, 41 , Born In 1980 - Cover of Café Sport Magazine

A decade might have gone by since Elin Nordegren’s incredibly public divorce to Tiger Woods, but she’s still making headlines! She is 40 years old right now, and only recently started a new family with the NFL’s Jordan Cameron when they had a son in December 2019.

Elin was a nanny when she first got acquainted with Tiger. Since then, she’s been able to jumpstart her modeling career, and even made it to the cover of Café Sport Magazine in 2000! She is now worth around $120 million, most of which she earned through hers and Woods’ settlement.

Nehemiah Persoff, 101 , Born in 1919 -  Some Like It Hot

His family emigrated to the United States in 1929 and Nehemiah then earned a degree from Hebrew Technical Institute. His first notable role was in  Some Like It Hot in 1959. Persoff's career spans more than 50 years during which he appeared in over 200 TV series, plays, and films.

His final film role was in 1999's  4 Faces before he stopped acting and decided to dedicate his time to painting. The 98-year-old is still alive and lives with his wife Thia in Cambria, California.

Sharon Stone, 63, Born In 1958

Two amazing things happened to Sharon Stone in March 2021. She first celebrated her 63rd birthday, and then she released her memoir titled The Beauty of Living Twice. The Oscar-nominated star began writing the autobiography after her near-fatal stroke in 2001.

Stone has gone a long way since she debuted on the silver screen through Woody Allen’s Stardust Memories in 1980. Although she became a controversial name because of Basic Instinct, the Sliver actress broke away from that image by winning herself a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award.

Joe Pesci, 78, Born In 1943

We got to know Joe Pesci through his convincing portrayals of tough, turbulent characters in various genres and collaborations with director Martin Scorsese and fellow actor Robert De Niro. They’ve worked together in films like Raging Bull, Casino, Goodfellas, and more recently, The Irishman.

The 78-year-old star has been semi-retired for most of the century when he starred in the 2019 epic crime film. But before he accepted the project, Pesci reportedly refused 50 times because he didn’t want to be doing “the gangster thing again.” It turned out to be the right choice since he got nominated as Best Supporting Actor in the Academy Awards.

Rachel Ticotin, 62, Born In 1958

Rachel Ticotin made her acting debut in 1978’s King of the Gypsies. However, her claim to fame didn’t come until the early ’90s, when she played a Martian-based sidekick named Melina in Total Recall. According to her IMDb page, she now has more than 60 film and TV show credits to her name.

At 53 years old, Ticotin went to college and eventually finished her studies in May 2019 at 60. It’s inspiring to know that she’s the first of her siblings to complete an education. Columbia News even reported that the Superintelligence (2020) star sees it as one of the best experiences and accomplishments of her life.

James Woods, 74, Born In 1947

James Woods built a solid foundation for his now-established acting career with minor parts on and off-Broadway. He even joined Michael Moriarty and Sam Waterston in the 1972 Broadway production titled The Trial of the Catonsville Nine. Currently, the 74-year-old celeb has two Primetime Emmy Awards under his belt.

In March 2020, Twitter locked Woods out after sharing an intimate photo of Andrew Gillum, an ex-Democratic candidate for governor. The Nixon star also shares conservative memes and conspiracy theories on the platform, according to News Week. His account, @RealJamesWoods, is now up and running again.

Kim Basinger, 67, Born In 1953

Kim Basinger is famous for being involved in both the acting and modeling industry. She won herself a Golden Globe and an Academy Award for starring in L.A. Confidential. At 60, she also bagged a contract with IMG Models. Basinger is Alec Baldwin’s ex-wife and the mother of their daughter, Ireland Baldwin.

The now 67-year-old celeb, who became a Bond girl in 1983, mostly keeps herself away from the spotlight. She’s also been busy with her animal protection advocacy. According to CNN, Basinger even went to South Korea to protest the dog meat industry in a 2019 event. She’s currently doing voice work for Back Home Again.

George W. Bush, 74, Born In 1946 - 43rd President of the United States

Following in his father's footsteps, George W. Bush decided to run for President in 2001 after serving as the 46th Governor of Texas. He won a close-call election against the Democratic candidate Al Gore and ended up serving for two terms.

Whether you agree with Barack Obama's politics or not, you have to admit he's one of the most influential political figures in the whole of Western democracy. The 46th President of the United States, Obama, made history in 2009 by becoming the first African-American to make it to the top seat of the White House.

He served for two terms and was widely considered to be a popular politician, in and outside of the U.S. He left the job in 2017 and was succeeded by Donald Trump. Since then, he's been mostly spending time with his family. His latest public appearance happened in 2021, during Joe Biden's presidential inauguration.

Al Gore, 73 , Born In 1948 - An Inconvenient Truth

The 45th Vice President of the United States, Al Gore, was the defeating party in one of the closest, most painful elections in recent American history. After losing to George W. Bush by a margin of fewer than 600 votes, Gore decided he didn't have to be president to still change the world for the better.

He was one of the first high-office political figures in the U.S. to embrace the fight against climate change. In 2006, he released An Inconvenient Truth, an extremely influential documentary on the matter, and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in the following year.

With a career that has spanned over six decades, Johnny Mathis has earned acclaim by creating over a dozen gold and platinum-selling albums, alongside 73 Billboard charting albums to date. Add to that a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and induction into the Grammy Hall of Fame, and you'll get why he is legendary.

Despite being billed as a romantic singer, his repertoire is versatile and includes soft rock, Spanish music, blues, and country. Through this, he has released some memorable singles, including Chances Are and the Oscar-nominated song Wild Is the Wind. His last album release was in 2017 and called Johnny Mathis Sings the Great New American Songbook.

Lorenzo Lamas, 63, Born In 1958 -  Renegade

Lorenzo Lamas got his first taste of fame in the cult classic musical Grease. Who is he, you ask? He is the jock who sparks Sandy's interest after seeing that Danny isn't all he pretended to be during summer vacation.

You may not recognize him since he had to go blonde for the role, but he is in his natural brown for his roles in the series Renegade and the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. He also had his own reality show called Leave It to Lamas but is back in the acting game with an upcoming 2022 film called Trail Blazers.

Dan Quayle, 74, Born In 1947 - 44th Vice President of the United States

The heyday of Dan Quayle's professional life happened between 1989 and 1993. He served as George H. W. Bush's Vice President before Al Gore succeeded him. But his outstanding political career started practically right after he obtained his J.D. degree from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 1974.

He served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Indiana's 4th district between 1977 and 1981 and later made it to the U.S. Senate, where he served for roughly eight years. After leaving the White House, Quayle joined a multi-billion dollar private equity firm, where he worked as chairman.

Hillary Clinton, 73, Born In 1947 - 67th U.S. Secretary of State

It's almost impossible to discuss women in politics without mentioning Hillary Clinton. She went from being a very-active first-lady to becoming a bonafide public servant, who worked, most notably, as Barak Obama's U.S. Secretary of State.

An ever-ambitious woman, Clinton ran for the U.S. Presidency as the Democratic candidate in 2016. Still, he saw her dream of becoming America's first female president crushed by Donald Trump's surprising victory. Her unexpected defeat was emotionally costly, but she's managed to recover by now. In 2020, she was announced as the new Chancellor of Queen's University Belfast.

 

Clu Gulager, 92, Born In 1928 - The Virginian

William Martin "Clu" Gulager, better known as just Clu Gulager, is a TV and movie star, primarily of the '60s. He is probably most famous for playing Billy the Kid in The Tall Man, which aired from 1960 to 1962, and also for playing Emmet Ryker in The Virginian, another popular Western series of that time.

Gulager was born in 1928, in Oklahoma, and his acting career began in 1947. He also directed two movies: Moments and A Day with the Boys. In recent years, Gulager was seen in Tangerine, in 2015, and in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. He has been in retirement since 2019.

Robert Duvall, 90 , Born in 1931 - The Godfather

Actor/filmmaker Robert Duvall was nominated for seven Academy Awards throughout his long and successful career. He appeared in notable projects such as  To Kill a Mocking Bird, The Twilight Zone, The Godfather, and  The Godfather Part II.

Duval doesn't have any children but he was married four times. After three divorces, he married Luciana Pedraza in 2005 and they are still together. Although already at 87, the actor refuses to slow down. This year, he appeared in the movie  Widows.

Michael Caine, 88 , Born in 1933 -  Alfie

This English actor, author, and producer appeared in more than 115 films. Regarded as an icon, Michael Caine rose to stardom thanks to his roles in  Zulu, The Ipcress File, and  Alfie. For his performance in  Hannah and Her Sisters, Caine received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.

The 85-year-old lives in a Leatherhead, Surrey estate where he has built a house with a movie theatre. Born as Maurice Joseph Micklewhite, he adopted the name Michael Caine in 1954.

Annette Warren, 99 , Born in 1922 - Vocal Dubbing in the film  Showboat

Perhaps you don't remember the popular jazz and song stylist Annette Warren, but this 96-year-old is still performing. She was discovered in 1945 when she made her first recordings. Annette made her radio debut the next year and the rest is history. She was hugely successful in clubs and theatres and started making television appearances.

It seems like retirement planning is not on her mind as she still performs in clubs in Hollywood and even headlined at the New York cabaret and restaurant Feinstein's/54 Below in 2017.

Irene Papas, 94 , Born in 1926 -  The Guns of Navarone

The Greek beauty has starred in over 70 films in her long career spanning more than 50 years. The retired actress and singer Irene Papas became an international star after  The Guns of Navarone and  Zorba the Greek.

The 91-year-old is alive and well, and obviously, she has discovered some anti-aging secret we are not aware of because she is defying age. She doesn't act anymore and her last known role was in  A Talking Picture in 2003.

Jeremy Clarkson, 61, Born in 1960 - Top Gear

If you've watched Top Gear, you've probably heard the name Jeremy Clarkson. Jeremy loves cars so much he made a career out of it, producing best-selling automobile-related books on them like Clarkson On Cars and Motorworld.

Aside from automotive passions, the TV presenter has been hosting the popular game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? since 2018. These days, the journalist is busy filming the Amazon Video's The Grand Tour with his co-hosts James May and Richard Hammond after recovering from Covid-19. We hope the broadcaster continues to be safe and healthy.

 

Andy Wilman, 59 , Born in 1962 – Jeremy Clarkson's Motorworld

TV viewers who have seen most of Jeremy Clarkson's shows, including Motorworld, have seen the works of Andy Wilman. He catapulted to fame when he became the executive producer of Top Gear. Andy served as the show's producer from 2002 to 2015, establishing the series' style and humor.

The respected television creator is also a part-owner of W. Chump & Sons, alongside Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond, producing The Grand Tour. His presence is felt on the program even though he never appeared on it by sending text missions to the cast, including funny criticism. We can't wait for the return of this car show!

 

James May, 58, Born in 1963 - The Grand Tour

You've probably seen James May in his Amazon show The Grand Tour, which he co-presented alongside former Top Gear colleagues Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond. A child at heart! He also made a 6-part TV series called James May's Toy Stories featuring the most sought-after toys of the past decades in 2009.

His love for toys doesn't stop there. In December 2012, James and his team created a massive toy glider for Fight Club that flew 22 miles to Lundy Island. The TV presenter is also an entrepreneur, co-owning an 18th century Wiltshire pub called The Royal Oak. Well, this is one unstoppable man.

 

Jeremy Corbyn, 72 , Born In 1949 - Member Of The British Parliament

Having a career in politics can take its toll on the mind and body. However, it seems that British MP Jeremy Corbyn is handling a job in the government in his stride.

As noted, most politicians tend not to age particularly well, but it appears that Jeremy's role in the government is somehow invigorating him and keeping him young. Would you believe it if we told you that Corbyn has now entered his early seventies? If we didn't know this for a fact, we'd have bet that this notable figure was probably a good few years younger than that!

Journalist Chris Evans might not have finished his education at the renowned Oxford University. So we'd bet our last dollar that every fresh graduate can learn a thing or two from this esteemed professional.

Chris is in his early fifties now, and even though he lives a private life, it appears that his news instincts remain as precise as ever, despite the fact that Chris isn't the youngest of journalists. It just goes to show that few things can compete with a combination of talent and experience, which this industry veteran has in spades.

Chris Tarrant's career in television started when he was about twenty, but lo and behold, that was more than five decades ago! In all the time that's passed since then, Chris has shown listeners on radio and television viewers alike precisely what kind of talent he has for broadcasting.

Chris's run on television is almost as remarkable as the fact he is still going strong despite being in his mid-seventies. After all, you don't host a show such as Who Wants To Be A Millionaire for sixteen years without having a strong constitution.

 

Piers Morgan, 56, Born in 1965 – Good Morning Britain

For some British viewers, Piers Morgan was on their TV screens every morning in Good Morning Britain. The host is a broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. In the '80s, he was a well-known tabloid writer and editor for The Sun and The Daily Mirror.

American viewers will probably remember him as one of America's Got Talent judges from Season 1 to 6. As of the moment, we're still on the lookout for Piers' upcoming projects after his highly publicized split with the morning show. We're still hoping to see this outspoken host back on our screens soon, though.

 

Richard Hammond, 51, Born in 1969 – Car File

TV host Richard Hammond has been a fixture of British media since the late 90s, hosting different popular shows. Richard started his career as a presenter for Car File, which ran from 1998-2002. Since then, the TV presenter has hosted shows like Brainiac: Science Abuse, Total Wipeout, and Planet Earth Live.

Richard is an avid vehicle collector, owning numerous cars and motorcycles and a private tractor and helicopter. He probably houses all of his wheels in his castle called Bollitree Castle in Herefordshire, which he bought for $2.76 million (£2M) near Weston under Penyard, Ross-on-Wye. Now, this is luxury on a whole other level.

William Daniels, 94 , Born in 1927 -  St. Elsewhere

His role as Dr. Mark Craig in the medical drama  St. Elsewhere brought him two Emmy Awards. But aside from that, he is also famous for appearing in  Boys Meet World as Mr. Feeny.  If you have been wondering whatever happened to William Daniels, we'll have you know that the 91-year-old actor is alive and well.

He married Bonnie Bartlet in 1951 and they have been together ever since. After the death of their newborn, they got two sons through adoption.

Nine years short of turning 100 and still with a lot to give, Barlow is still mainly recognized for her twenty-plus-years spell with the soap opera Coronation Street, in which she portrayed Mavis Wilton. She also made it to the popular TV shows Dinnerladies and Doctor Who.

She was born in Connecticut back in 1942, but Linda Evans soon became known throughout America for her acting. Her first success as an actress came with The Big Valley series, where she played Audra Barkley. She later landed the role of Krystle Carrington in Dynasty in the ‘80s.

Linda’s now 77 years old. Although the last time we had seen her in front of a camera was back in 1997 with The Step Sister film, she’s now expected to make a comeback. In 2020, she’s going to be playing in the Swan Song film.

Ronnie Wood was set on becoming a singer since he was a child. He didn't become just any singer, though. Wood went on to become a world-famous singer as he became a member of the English rock band The Rolling Stones. As you may have already noticed, Wood is not frequently heard of in the present.

Lynda’s also released five studio albums, with the latest one being in 2018 called Red Rock N’ Blues. She’s been playing a recurring role in Super Girl since 2016. Now, she's set to participate in the Canaan Land and Heirlooms movies in the upcoming future.

Alfred Hitchcock unveiled one of his masterpieces in 1955,  The Trouble With Harry. Shirley MacLaine dipped her feet in acting through the film, which marked her debut in Hollywood. At 85, she’s still adding credits to her name with appearances in films like the 2018 fantasy comedy  Noelle.

If there’s one thing we can say about MacLaine, it’s the fact that she is passionate and serious about her craft. That’s why she took  Twentieth Century-Fox to court in 1970 over a contractual dispute, and the judgment was in her favor. The landmark ruling is often cited in law textbooks covering employment-contract law.

Lauren Chapin, 76 , Born In 1945 - Father Knows Best

She was less than ten years old when she landed the role of Kathy Anderson in the Father Knows Best series of the ‘50s. Lauren Chapin was born in 1945 in Los Angeles. By the time she reached adolescence, she had already won many Junior Emmy Awards for Best Child Actress.

By the ‘80s, Lauren decided to stop acting after playing in Scout’s Honour. She only ever made one comeback in 2016 with the series called School Bus Diaries. Lauren’s reportedly working as a manager to live performers on cruises. She is 75 years old and is worth anywhere up to $6 million.

Marlo Thomas, 83 , Born In 1937 -  That Girl

That Girl is a sitcom that aired on  ABC in the late ‘60s. Marlo Thomas starred in it as its title character Ann Marie. She earned widespread recognition on the show. In fact, she even went on to receive four  Emmys, a  Peabody Award, and a  Golden Globe for it. 

Thomas is now pushing 82, and the last time she graced our screens was in  Ocean’s 8 (2018). She’s been married to Phil Donahue since 1980, and they fell in love when they first met on his famous eponymous talk show. She has five stepchildren, Donahue’s kids from his first marriage.

Ted Lange, 73 , Born In 1948 - The Love Boat

He was born in Oakland back in 1948 and grew to become a nation-wide famous actor. Ted Lange did so by playing in series like The Love Boat in the ‘80s. He’s also starred in films like Othello, and in fact, he’s never stopped acting!

Just in 2020, he will be playing on WRZ: White Racist Zombies.  Lange’s now 72 years old and hasn’t lost a bit of his lovability! He’s been married to Mary Ley since 2001 and has earned himself a fortune equal to $4 million.

 

Ali MacGraw, 82 , Born In 1939 -  Passion & Poetry: Peckinpah Anecdotes

With  Goodbye, Columbus, a 1969 film, Ali MacGraw sent shock-waves throughout the film industry due to her gorgeous appearance and impressive talent, which also earned her a Golden Globe. We're not sure why her career faded away by the end of the '90s, but MacGraw did try to revive herself by debuting on Broadway with the play  Festen, in 2006.

MacGraw attended Wellesley College, which is not a film school, but gave her enough foundation to have a fruitful film career. We last saw her in the documentary short  Passion & Poetry in 2017.

Nancy Sinatra, 80 , Born In 1940 -  These Boots Are Made for Walkin'

Nancy Sinatra is the daughter of late singer Frank Sinatra and she was fortunate enough to be able to make singing her profession just like her famous father. The '60s were when she was most popular and her biggest hit has got to be  These Boots Are Made for Walkin'.

She was even able to do acting work at one point, with some memorable roles in  The Wild Angels and  Speedway. Nancy doesn't do much work any more but according to her IMDb page, she will be appearing as herself in a new movie called  Sebring.

Sophia Loren,  86 , -  Two Women, Born In  1934

Iconic model and actress Sophia Loren was viewed as among the most noteworthy role models for women in her era. Starting out as a model, she began entering beauty pageants at 15 years old. Loren moved on to getting acting parts in 1950. In 1956, her career started to soar when she signed a prime  Paramount Pictures agreement, as did her bank balance.

The parts she had in  It Started in Naples and  The Pride and The Passion are stuck in our memories. Loren's net worth in 2019 is $75M, and she still steps out on the red carpet.

Lauren Tewes, 67 , Born In 1953 - The Love Boat

Lauren Tewes came under the spotlight in the '70s when she starred as Julie McCoy on ABC's The Love Boat. The role earned her praise, but she lost it in the mid-'80s due to her drug addiction, which came with a consequence that harms many in show business—weight gain.

Tewes is now 66, and she has played roles in Charlie's Angels, Family, and The Fugitive, among others. In 2020, she made a comeback voicing a character named Maxine Murdoch on the radio series named Murder and the Murdochs. When Tewes's showbiz gigs have been slow, she reportedly serves as a sous-chef in Seattle

Jill Whelan, 54 , Born In 1966 - The Love Boat

Speaking of The Love Boat series, we couldn’t possibly leave out Jill Whelan, as she so successfully played Vicki Stubing there. She was a teenager when she was part of the show, and by the time it finished, she was in her 20s. Naturally, Jill went on to have a successful acting career.

She played in films like Airplane! and Martin and remained active up until recently. The last movie in which we saw her was in 2017, Take It from the Top. Jill is 53 years old by now and a mother to two sons. She’s been living in Los Angeles since 2012.

Nichelle Nichols, 88 , Born In 1932 -  Star Trek: The Original Series

Speaking of Star Trek, Nichelle Nichols could not have skipped us. After all, she’s a member of the original series’ cast of the ‘60s! Nichelle played the role of Uhura in many of the franchise’s projects. She will be reprising it in the upcoming Star Trek Frist Frontier film!

Nichelle’s not as young as she was back then, but her acting skills haven’t at all been affected. In 2020 she even played in Unbelievable!!!. Some of Nichelle’s projects outside acting, include working with NASA on a female-recruiting program and writing books like Beyond Uhura in 1994.

Richard Dean Anderson, 71 , Born In 1950 -  General Hospital

An actor who started his Hollywood career way earlier and rose to fame in 1976, he has been appearing as Dr. Jeff Webber in hit television show  General Hospital since 1963. But that's not all about his success story.

Richard is also known for performing in television show  MacGyver in the 1960s. For someone who never dreamt about making it big as an actor, this television star surely proved himself wrong. With his big break in  General Hospital, we don't think he will be going anywhere soon!

Bo Derek, 64 , Born In 1956 - Tarzan, the Ape Man

Bo Derek is an American actress and model who bagged various roles in the fantasy movies of John Derek when they were still husband and wife.  Tarzan The Ape Man,  Bolero, and  Ghosts Can’t Do It are just a few of the most famous credits in her filmography.

This  Golden Globe nominee's career was at its best during the ’80s and the ’90s. But after that, she has only taken up various small roles in the industry. Bo is now married to John Corbett and has recently played in the 2018 films  5 Weddings and  The Christmas Trap.

 

Dirk Benedict, 76 , Born In 1945 – The A-Team

From Battlestar Galactica and The A-Team series, Dirk Benedict has earned himself a fortune equal to $1.5 million. Dirk’s been enjoying a hiatus the past decade. However, it came to an end in 2019 when he was in Space Ninjas. Dirk will be participating in the upcoming mini-series called After Hell.

He’s 75 years old, but it appears that he still has every shred of talent that landed him on TV in the first place. Dirk had two sons with his ex-wife Toni Hudson, and one from a previous relationship. He lives in a waterfront house in Bigfork, Montana.

She might mostly be famous for her role in the Star Trek: The Next Generation series, but the truth is that Gates McFadden’s career stretches way beyond that. Gates has acted both on stage and on-camera but has also worked extensively as a choreographer for various productions.

By now, Gates is 71 years old and is worth $3 million. On top of the Star Trek series, she’s also played in four of the franchise’s films. Meanwhile, her stage work includes productions like 1988’s Emerald City. The last time Gates acted on TV was for an episode of NCIS in 2017.

Pat Klous, 72 , Born In 1948 - The Love Boat

Pat Klous started her career as a model in New York, before even trying out acting. When Klous made the switch, she found incredible success, and also got to play in The Love Boat until 1984! Her last acting gig was with an episode of Murder, She Wrote in 1987.

That was also around the same time when she got her third and final divorce to David Beach, with whom she’d gotten married four years earlier. Klous announced getting retired from acting in 2002. She has been living her life quietly, away from the spotlight ever since.

Stefanie Powers, 78 , Born In 1942 - Hart to Hart

She was born in 1943, and by the ‘60s, Stephanie Powers was already landing one role after another. She started out quite successfully, even playing in McLintock, but it wasn’t until she landed a role in the Hart to Hart series when she really got recognized.

Stephanie is now in her late 70s and is still very much around. The last time she acted was in 2019 with The Artist’s Wife. For now, she will be participating in the upcoming documentary film called Boris Karloff: The Man Behind the Monster. Overall she has accumulated a $9-million fortune.

 

Robert Fuller, 88 , -  Emergency!, Born In 1933

The actor and horse rancher, Robert Fuller, became a hit on TV after he signed on to portray Dr. Kelly Brackett in the hospital drama series,  Emergency! During the '60s and '70s, he starred in the TV Westerns  Laramie and  Wagon Train as Jess Harper and Cooper Smith respectively. Early in his career, he had appearances in various movies such as  Return of the Seven and  Incident at Phantom Hill.

In '94, Fuller received praise for his exceptional acting in the movie  Maverick. He took his career up to 2001 and then retired from acting. He's now worth $5M, so his retirement planning does seem to be working in his favor.

Robyn Hilton, 77 , Born In 1944 - Blazing Saddles

Even though her Hollywood career was brief, Robyn Hilton made quite the impression. She was born in Twin Falls, Idaho, back in 1949, July. In the ‘70s, she got to play in hit-films like Blazing Saddles, The Single Girls, and even Malibu Express in 1985. That was, however, the last time she acted.

She also briefly modeled for various magazines during that time. Today, Robyn is in her 70s and lives her life away from the spotlight. She’s been married and divorced twice, first to William Hilton in the ‘60s, and later to Alan Mihoces, in 1990, and whom she divorced in 2016.

Morgan Fairchild, 71 , Born In 1950 - Dallas

Morgan Fairchild became famous in the ‘80s by playing in various TV shows such as  Search for Tomorrow. The daytime soap opera was actually the first project she did on TV back in 1973. Yet,  Dallas has got to be her most notable work on the small screen.

In more recent times, younger audiences may recognize the now 70-year-old Morgan as Nora Bing from  Friends. In this beloved series, she played Chandler’s mom, which was a recurring character from 1995 to 2001. Her latest work is  Spring Break '83, which will be released in 2020.

Paul Michael Glaser, 78 , Born In 1943 –  Starsky & Hutch

Paul started to become a rising star back in the 1960s but the reason behind his hugely successful career was his role in Starsky & Hutch. This television show from the 70s gives Paul the edge that makes him stand strong in the television industry.

With that, this 75-year-old actor also appeared in the  Ray Donovan television show till 2014,  The Mentalist and more. The actor has not planned on retiring anytime soon. An actor who lost his first wife and two children to HIV, Glaser remains a very inspirational figure in the industry.

At 81 years old, Gould is still consistently making money as an actor. He most recently appeared on a film called Dangerous Lies, and on an episode of the series titled Grace and Frankie. Gould's also part of the National Board of Directors of the Screen Actors Guild.

Marianne Faithfull, 74 , Born In 1946 - As Tears Go By

Marianne is in her 70s by now, and she’s been around on the industry since the ‘60s. She’s credited for songs like As Tears Go By and films like The Girl on a Motorcycle.

Marianne’s one of England’s most famous artists by now and has never stopped making art. Her latest album was published in 2018, called Negative Capability. Meanwhile, the last film in which she played was The Girl from Nagasaki in 2013. She’s now expected to participate in the upcoming documentary film called Dad Strangelove.

Jay North, 70, Born In 1951 - Dennis the Menace

Jay North was born in 1951 in Los Angeles, and before the ’50s came to an end, he had already found himself acting for the camera. Jay got to portray the infamous Dennis in the Dennis the Menace series of the ’50s and ’60s. He continued acting for the following years until he decided to stop in the ’80s.

Today, Jay is 68 years old. The last time he found himself on TV was in 2011 with the documentary called The Actor’s Journey. He’s reportedly been working closely with the non-profit called A Minor Consideration, which was founded by Paul Peterson, to give support and guidance to young performers.

Dwayne Hickman, 87 , Born In 1934 -  The Bob Cummings Show

During the 1950s, Dwayne Hickman was well known for portraying the role of Chuck MacDonald in the show called  The Bob Cummings Show. His other notable portrayal was on The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis. In 1977, Hickman started working behind the scenes at  CBS as a  programming executive.

Hickman's last acting role was on  Angels with Angles. He hasn't been in the limelight since then but he sure has taken good care of his health all these years because he is still very much around at his age of 84.

Barbara Eden discovered a gold mine when she landed the role of Jeanie in the popular '60s sitcom,  I Dream of Jeannie, a role that catapulted her to the peak of success. But she deserved it, as the singer and actress had received extensive training from multiple institutions, although we're not sure if she actually graduated with a degree from any of them.

Her recent works would show you she is not very active anymore, as the last project she worked on was in 2016 when she lent her voice to a character on an episode of  Shimmer and Shine.

Sam Elliott's signature mustache and deep voice are actually unforgettable. His macho image earned him a lot of prominent roles in Western movies and shows. However, he has also participated in blockbusters such as  The Big Lebowski and  Ghost Rider.

Helen Shapiro, 74 , Born In 1946 - Walkin' Back to Happiness

Pop-jazz vocalist Helen Shapiro was big in the '60s, primarily due to her UK chart-toppers Walkin' Back to Happiness and You Don't Know. You'd be surprised to know that she recorded these songs when she was just 14 and was billed as Britain's Top Female Singer at 16.

Shapiro was so famous back in the day that John Lennon and Paul McCartney of The Beatles even wrote a composition for her called Misery. However, her producer turned it down, so she didn't get to record the song. In 1987, Shapiro accepted Jesus in her heart, and by 2002, she temporarily retired from showbiz.

Susan Tully, 53 , Born In 1967 -

These days, Susan Tully is a bona fide director known for working on projects like Stella, Silent Witness, and The A Word. More recently, she has directed the current ITV show Too Close.

However, fans of EastEnders will never forget her as the baby-faced Michelle Fowler. After all, she was on the BBC soap opera for a decade. Tully also played the rebellious teen named Suzanne Ross in Grange Hill. She decided to turn her back on acting in 1998, after starring in Up ‘n’ Under. That year, she returned to EastEnders and directed 12 episodes.

Cassandra Peterson - Age 70

To Cassandra Peterson, her fame came gradually, and it was very distinctive considering her character. Peterson's career, and perhaps her entire life changed with her embracing the role of Elvira, The Mistress of the Dark, on Elvira's Movie Macabre, which was a weekly horror movie presentation.

Fast forward to 2020, Peterson is now 68 years old, and other than a very few movies and television series, every other role she played were in Elvira's character. Although the character was a spooky one, Peterson was and still is a beautiful woman with ageless skin. According to Elle, she uses Skinceuticals products, recommended by the one and only RuPaul.

 

Michael Crawford, 79 , Born In 1942 - Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em

Michael Crawford became a household name because of the British TV show Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em. He played Frank Spencer in the sitcom for over four decades between 1973 and 2016. According to his IMDb page, his only other on-screen credit since then has been for the TV series Private Eyes in 2019.

Nonetheless, the 79-year-old Crawford is also a brilliant on-stage actor. He has a Laurence Olivier Award and a Tony Award under his belt for playing the title character of the musical The Phantom of the Opera. In 2018, Crawford performed the Voice of God in the 60th-anniversary production of Britten's Noye's Fludde in London.

 

Elisabeth Shue, 57 , Born In 1963 - The Karate Kid

There aren’t many people out there that have managed to preserve their acting careers over the years. That’s not the case for Elisabeth Shue, however, as she’s gone from playing to The Karate Kid and Back to the Future, to 2020’s Greyhound film and On the Verge series.

Elisabeth was born in Delaware back in 1963. Today she is 56 years old and a mother of three, but most of all, she’s a successful actress. Elisabeth’s been married to Davis Guggenheim since 1994. By now, she has earned herself a $12.5-million fortune with which to get by!

William Hurt, 71, Born In 1950 - Kiss of the Spider Woman

William Hurt got famous after appearing in the neo-noir movie Body Heat and the sci-fi flick Altered States. Later, he got recognized by the Academy Awards with a nomination for Best Actor for his stirring performance in the 1985 drama Kiss of the Spider Woman. In 1986, he did it again with Children of a Lesser God.

Active in show business since 1977, Hurt is still going strong and appearing in some of the most famous Hollywood blockbusters of the hour. In 2021, he portrayed Secretary Ross in the Black Widow movie and is set to appear in the to-be-released animated TV series Pantheon.

 

Kurt Ahrens Jr., 81, geboren 1940 – Ahrens Racing Team

Kurt Ahrens Jr. ist ein ehemaliger deutscher Rennfahrer, der heute aber schon 81 Jahre alt ist. Er begann Ende der 50er Jahre Automobilrennen zu fahren, wobei er zunächst in der Formel 3 startete und später in der Formel 2. Seine Karriere beschränkte sich aber auf die 60er Jahre, denn er zog sich schon mit 30 Jahren zurück, um sich mehr seiner Familie mit seinen 4 Kindern zu widmen. Diese Entscheidung lag aber bestimmt auch an der Tatsache, dass zu dieser Zeit relativ viele tödliche Unfälle im Rennsport geschahen und er sich wegen seiner Familie nicht riskieren wollte. Er arbeitete auch während seiner Zeit als Rennfahrer, sowie danach in der Eisenhandlung seines Vaters. Sein Vater, Kurt Ahrens sen. war ein noch erfolgreicherer Rennfahrer gewesen.

Hans Herrmann, 93, geboren 1928 – Großer Preis von Deutschland 1954

Der ehemalige Rennfahrer Hans Herrmann ist heute eine wahre Rennfahr-Legende. Er ist heute schon 93 Jahre alt. Der gebürtige Stuttgarter war eigentlich Konditor, doch wurde er zu einem der vielseitigsten Rennfahrer seiner Zeit, der nicht nur für verschiedene Rennställe, sondern auch in verschiedenen Rennarten antrat. Er startete zum ersten Mal bei einer Automobil-Weltmeisterschaft im Jahr 1953 und zum letzten Mal beim Großen Preis von Deutschland im Jahr 1966. Er hatte Ende der 40er Jahre als Fuhrunternehmer zu arbeiten begonnen und eine Art Taxiunternehmen eröffnet bis er schließlich zum Rennsport kam. Nach dem Ende seiner Karriere blieb er weiter dem Rennsport verbunden und arbeitete bis zu seinem Ruhestand in der Nachwuchsförderung.

Hans Heyer, 78, geboren 1943 – Großer Preis von Deutschland 1977

Hans Heyer begann schon als Jugendlicher eigene Karts zu bauen, mit denen er in den Niederlanden startete, da er in Deutschland noch keinen Führerschein bekam. Als er dann 18 wurde, begann er auch seine Rennsportkarriere in Deutschland. So fuhr er ab den 60er Jahren bis Ende der 90er Jahre in unzähligen Klassen und Kategorien Rennen und war auch vielfach erfolgreich. 2004 fuhr er sein 1000. Rennen als Gast im VW-Polo-Cup. Nach dem Ende seiner Karriere übernahm er das Beton- und Asphalt-Unternehmen seiner Eltern und war bis vor kurzem dort noch als Geschäftsführer tätig. Heute genießt er im Alter von 78 Jahren nun seinen Ruhestand.

Hans-Joachim Stuck, 70, geboren 1951 – Deutscher Tourenwagen Meister 1990

Hans-Joachim Stuck ist heute 70 Jahre alt und kann auf eine erfolgreiche Karriere im Rennsport zurückblicken. Er begann seine Karriere Ende der 70er Jahre und gewann bis in die 90er Jahre unzählige Rennen, darunter das 24 Stunden Rennen „Le Mans“ und außerdem wurde er Deutscher Tourenwagen Meister im Jahr 1990. Im Anschluss daran konnte er sich aber nicht von seiner Leidenschaft, dem Rennsport trennen, und arbeitet bis heute weiter als Motorsportfunktionär. Übrigens hat er vor wenigen Jahren nun zum vierten Mal geheiratet und lebt heute in Österreich. Er hat zwei erwachsene Söhne.

Jochen Mass, 74 geboren 1946 – McLaren

Der ehemalige Rennfahrer Jochen Mass konnte in verschiedenen Kategorien mit seinem Talent überzeugen. Er fuhr sowohl in der Formel 1, als auch im Tourenwagensport und bei Langstreckenrennen. Heute ist er schon 74 Jahre alt. Er war eigentlich gelernter Seemann, doch schon in den 60er Jahren begann er sich dem Rennsport zu widmen und startete zunächst in der Formel V. 1973 startete er dann zum ersten Mal in der Formel 1. Dort nahm er an insgesamt 105 Grand Prix Rennen teil und war damit bis Michael Schumacher in der Formel 1 startete der erfolgreichste deutsche Formel-1 Rennfahrer.

Michael Schumacher, 52, geboren 1969 – Ferrari

Michael Schumacher ist der bisher erfolgreichste und berühmteste deutsche Rennfahrer der Formel 1. Er war in über 307 Gran Prix Rennen der Formel 1 am Start und hält einige Rekorde, wie 7 Weltmeistertitel oder einige schnellste Rennrunden. Nach dem Ende seiner Karriere erlitt er einen schweren Skiunfall, der ihn so schwer beeinträchtigt hat, dass er zunächst um sein Leben kämpfen musste und seither nicht mehr in der Öffentlichkeit aufgetreten ist. Heute ist sein Sohn Mick eines der Nachwuchstalente im Formel 1-Sport und wir können nur gespannt bleiben, ob er in die Fußstapfen seines Vaters treten wird.

Cassandra Peterson, 70, Born In 1922 - Elvira: Mistress of the Dark

Cassandra Peterson shot to fame in the '80s as "Elvira, Mistress of the Dark." The Los Angeles-based KHJ-TV aired the weekly horror show titled "Elvira Movie Macabre" which was hosted by her. The character became part of popular culture and for years, Peterson made appearances and toured as "Elvira." She was also featured on a calendar series and video games based on the character.

"Pee-wee's Big Adventure" and "All About Evil" are some of her other credits. She released "Mistress of Dark" in 2021, and the memoir tells about her experience as the wildly popular horror hostess. The memoir also details previously unknown details about her personal life.

 

Ruth Buzzi, 85, Born In 1936 – Glenn's Gotta Go

Before today's "Saturday Night Live" comedians ruled the scene, the likes of Ruth Buzzi made audiences laugh with their jokes and gags. She's perhaps best remembered for her part in the sketch show "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In" in the late '60s and the early '70s.

That's not the Golden Globe winner's only claim to fame, though. If you've got a sharp ear, then you'd recognize her voice from her "Sesame Street" character Ruthie! After nearly seven decades in the business, Buzzi is still alive and busy with projects including the 2020 film "Glenn's Gotta Go."
